Mahoney Manor

My father executed his vision and built Mahoney Manor from the ground up. What started as a "camp" eventually became his full-time home before his untimely death in 2018. Nestled in the woods at the base of Ira Mountain just minutes from Sugarloaf and along the Carrabassett River, Emmett created a sanctuary. He spent the last years of his life "developing" two empty lots into a Zen-like nature trail system with hand made bridges and benches perfect for 4-season walking or snowshoeing.

Miss Lucy Lu (Lucy) is the cat residents who lives in this special apartment. She is the host and will greet you. She loves people. She is an indoor kitty. There is a restaurant next door, the gallery is downstairs, swimming out the back of the building. Sugarloaf mountain close by. Mountains of possibilities to explore in the western area of Maine.

Small camp located on Wyman Lake in Moscow, Maine. Perfect for a couple, can fit 3 people okay, 4 people will be very cozy! Perfect spot for Winter activities! Walk steps to the lake and enjoy ice fishing or hit the local trails for snowmobiling, hiking, snowshoeing and skiing. We have WiFi but because of our location it is very slow and spotty. We are located right off of RT 201, There are two other cabins on our property so this is not a secluded camp deep in the woods.

Bring the family to this great place with lots of room for fun and gear. Short walk to Annie's and Longfellows. Two mile snowmobile trail out back for XC skiing, walking, snowshoeing. 16 miles from access road to Sugarloaf. Lots of room in loft style upstairs bedroom. Large parking lot, Roku, WiFi, washer and dryer, gas stove, ping pong table. Winter's Health and fitness gym is less than a mile away, Petersen Waterskiing 2.5 miles away.

Surrounded by conservation land, the camp is airy and bright, with views opening onto woods and stream, and is well screened. Solar panels provide water and electricity. There's limited satellite internet service for emailing and texting, and sometimes phone through wifi, depending on your service provider.
