Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve

Even American bald eagles put in guest appearances here. There are four miles of hiking trails in the park, punctuated by scenic outlooks. Run by an enthusiastic volunteer team, this museum chronicling surf culture has a funky, homegrown feel.
