A beachfront retreat

Charge your batteries in this quiet spot just 15 yards from the beach. Here you can enjoy the sun from morning to evening. In the summer, just put on your slippers and go straight out for a morning swim. On the beach there is a great place to sit and enjoy sea and boating . The apartment is a residential house on Bjerkøya in the Oslo fjord. There is a coastal path sign on the island and there are several beaches in the area. If you are two families on a trip together, one of the families can rent the apartment next door.

Central Drammen - 30 minutes by train to Oslo.

In this place you can stay close to everything, with a central location in Drammen and a short distance to Oslo by train/car. It is only 11 minutes walk to the train station and the train ride to Oslo takes 30 minutes. The apartment is simple but homely decorated. There are two bedrooms, both with a double bed (140 cm and 180 cm). We automatically prepare both bedrooms if you are four guests, but we are happy to prepare two bedrooms also for only two guests. Cosy cabin with a great view. 200 meters to the nearest beach and 800 meters to a big public beach. Sun from 8 am to 10 pm in the summer. Large terrace on three levels. Kitchen holds a modern standard. Main cabin holds to bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with a single bed), living room, dining area (with a kitchen sofa that can be made in to a double bed) and kitchen. Our place suits couples, families or people travelling by themselves. It is close to Oslo, where the Oslofjord meets Drammenfjord and the breathtaking light has made Holmsbu attractive for well known artists and painters in the past, and still is.
