In-law apartment in the blue house; garden with grill

Warmly welcome in our newly renovated in-law! You may be able to rent the easternmost apartment in Germany here. It is centrally located in Frankfurt (Oder), but still in the countryside and directly on an old arm of the Oder. In 5 minutes you can easily reach on foot both the city center, the university, the train station or an island on the Oder. In 10 minutes walk you are in Poland. The location is ideal for water hikers due to the proximity to the river. With its own boat, you can land in the neighboring rowing club, but even without their own boat, guests can take the in-house canoe tours. But the location is also unique for cyclists, because the house is located directly on the Oder-Neisse bike path, so you can bed in a comfortable bed without detour. The apartment is equipped with 2 single beds, dining table, SATELLITE TV, radio, CD player, a single kitchen with 2 new ceramic hobs, sink, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave with grill function, toaster, coffee machine and dishes as well as a bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine. The apartment is heated by a modern underfloor heating. It is located on the ground floor and has its own entrance and access to the garden where you can relax on your own bench or in the sun lounger and enjoy the sunset. Or you can look into the fire of the in-house fire pit for hours. In nice weather there is the possibility to sunbathe in the sun lounger. If this gets too warm, you can stretch out the umbrella or warp under the cherry tree. The apartment has its own barbecue,so nothing stands in the way of the outdoor fun. So that it is also possible to leave windows and patio door open in summer, we have mounted extra mosquito protection doors. Due to its proximity to Berlin and Poland, the city of Frankfurt (Oder) is an ideal starting point for exploring. If you want to travel by car, parking is available.

My apartment is situated in the trendy “Prenzlauer Berg” neighborhood. The apartment is on the 1st floor (Amer. 2nd), facing the quiet inner yard, well lit through two large French windows. The view features a restored factory and studios. The studio area is 40 square meters in size, contains a double bed, a mini kitchen containing everything to chill and cook. The studio has a lucid corridor and a luxury bathroom containing a shower and bathtub and underfloor heathing. The entire apartment is 60 square meters in size and tastefully furnished, mixing modern and classic design notes. Fast internet is available. The neighbourhood is very well liked and one of the trendiest in Berlin. Bakeries, coffee shops, bike rentals, public parks and a supermarket are in the immediate vicinity. The world renowned “Mauerpark” with its many attractions and flee market (on weekends) is 15 minutes by bike. The street is nonetheless quiet, situated between two large boulevards, with fantastic public transportation to the ariports as well as other central landmarks, and quarters, such as Alexanderplatz, the East Side Gallery, Mitte, Friedrichshain etc. You can walk to the Kastanienallee und Alte Schönhauser Allee, two hip shopping boulevards. A lot of young people live here, I am sure you will love it!

This romantic remise is located on Potsdam villa premises featuring old fruit and walnut trees, directly at the shore of Jungfernsee. In the summer, you can enjoy a swim in the lake before breakfast, if you wish. Only a stone’s throw away from the world-famous Glienicke Bridge. For decades during the Cold War, the bridge was the place where spies were exchanged.

In addition to an approx. 25 sqm large room, it has a separate entrance, with hallway and shower room and a small cooking facility. From the apartment you have a beautiful view of the Schwielochsee.
