Soak in the secluded backyard hot tub at any time, with a pool available in the summer. At 800 square feet, this loft is 3 or 4 times the size of a hotel room, and from its flagstone floors to its cathedral ceilings, it offers much more as well. Enjoy the sophisticated and well appointed decor.
The loft is bright and airy given its 16 foot cathedral ceilings, four sky lights and five large windows. Each window has room darkening blinds and full curtains that can darken the room for an afternoon nap. It is accessed through a private entrance up a wide stairwell in the stand alone garage. An In-Suite thermostat allows you to control a comfortable room temperature. The newly renovated space is equipped with queen bed and a twin trundle bed, which pulls out a second twin bed (sleeps two). The beds are fitted with 100% cotton sheets. The living room lounge area has a 55" 4K Ultra UHD flat screen TV equipped with a Roku streaming device. Spectrum TV streaming app provides the broadcast networks, as well as ESPN, TNT, AMC, Bravo and others. Bring your log-in ID to access your favorites programming, such as NETFLIX, HBO-Go, HULU and SlingTV. A Blu-ray/DVD player is available upon request. (There are 3 redbox locations within 2 miles.) The full bath has a shower stall (no tub). Plush towels and premium soap, shampoo and conditioner are provided. Enjoy use of backyard hot tub year round and in ground pool during summer season. Children are welcome. The loft is stocked with books and board games. There is a baby gate available.
The setting of this property is a long and winding street with large, open lots and eye-catching homes. Stroll to the mouth of the Presumpscot River, which empties into Casco Bay. Dine and shop in the heart of the Old Port, only 14 minutes away.
  • Pamela was very welcoming and everything was just like we expected 10/10 would definitely recommend.

  • The place was amazing! Everything was nice and clean. The decor was amazing. It was a very comfortable airbnb to stay at.

    Jing2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • The entire process and stay couldn't have been easier. Pamela did a fantastic job making check in easy and giving you plenty of options to do during your stay. Would stay here again!

  • This place was great! Awesome for a weekend up north.

  • My boyfriend and I visited the area with our fatbikes to check out the trails in the Portland/Freeport area and visit some of our favorite breweries. We didn't want to stay in downtown Portland or worry about overnight parking and this place is in a great location. There's a grocery store nearby and it didn't take long to get into the downtown area for breakfast. We only stayed one night and didn't cook there so I can't comment on the kitchen amenities except that I appreciated the option. The space was very comfortable and warmed up quickly (except the slate floor but there are plenty of rugs). I hope to visit again in the summer and take advantage of the pool and hot tub. Thanks, Pam!

  • My girlfriend and I stayed two nights here in February and loved every second spent in the loft! Instructions upon arriving are simple and clear. The loft is beautifully decorated and had a true feeling of home. We were visiting the Portland & Freeport areas, and this was in the perfect location between the two. I appreciated the coffee options and the non-dairy creamers that we’re provided. We utilized the fridge and some of the kitchenware, but mainly explored nearby restaurants, although we did appreciate the option to cook. One of the nights we stayed it had snowed about 6 inches over night, and Pamela and her family were nice enough to even brush off my car while they were shoveling!! We utilized the hot tub, which was a great addition to the trip! We HIGHLY recommend the loft to anyone considering!

The Walker House was built in the mid-1800s as a private home by Henry B. Walker who was wise enough to capitalize on all the clay in the soil in Maine and owned 3 brickyards. Now on The National Register of Historic Places, the house is located just over Portland townline so you’ll enjoy the space, quiet and safety of a family-oriented area with just minutes to the center of town.
  • The place is very warm! We really liked the decoration, everything was well indicated and we had everything we needed! The place was super clean and it offers on-site parking, which we very much appreciated. We would definitely recommend!

    Lou-Anne2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • This space was uniquely beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed, Maine books, tv and extra kitchen and bathroom essentials as needed. And was incredibly great for our dog (fenced in yard, extra sheets, toys etc). All the touches really showed Pete wants your stay to be both comfortable and memorable. We would book again in a heartbeat.

    Rucha2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Pete was a wonderful host with excellent communication. The loft was clean and cozy! My friend and I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

  • Wonderful location and space. Pete was super accommodating and responsive. It terms of amenities he thought of everything.

    Ashley2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • What an absolutely charming apartment. The studio is huge and has absolutely everything that a visitor could want or need. We had a very short spur of the moment trip to Portland and felt very lucky to have found an apartment that was pet friendly with a fenced in yard. I will definitely go back to Portland (great little city) and when I do I hope to be able to stay again at this darling apartment.

    Joanne2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Pete's place is the perfect space for a quick stay in Westbrook and AWESOME if you have a dog. The fenced in back yard was fantastic and the loaner chew toys were much appreciated (we loved the artwork, by the way...).

    Brandon2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing! Great space, gorgeous decor, smooth communication and check in, and a great big yard completely fenced off that our dogs just loved! Thanks for the stay.

Recently renovated modern studio cottage, located in a quiet Portland neighborhood only a 7-10 minute drive (and $9 Uber ride) from downtown Portland, the Old Port, and all local visitor attractions. Allagash Brewing is just a mile down the road, and you are within walking distance (.5 mi) of the bars and restaurants at Morrill's Corner. Everything in my cottage is new, hand-made, or 'upcycled' (my hobbies include refinishing antique furniture and building furniture).
Sliding barn door for the bathroom, custom-made concrete countertop, handmade furniture and refinished antiques, USB ports for charging electronic devices. Modern rustic: the best of the old world and the new! As a frequent traveler myself, I put a lot of thought into what makes a stay a fun, convenient, and relaxing experience, and designed some of the amenities and layout with that in mind. I hope you enjoy!
Even though it's only a short drive away from downtown, my neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. You can look at the stars and fall asleep to the sound of crickets after a fun night in town. Local neighborhood pubs (Samuels, Bruno's Tavern) and restaurants (Susan's Fish & Chips, Po' Boys & Pickles, Bruno's, Babylon) are located a short 10-minute walk away. The complex that hosts Allagash Brewing Company, Foundation Brewing, and Austin St Brewing is a short 25-30 minute walk away (and passes Noble BBQ, one of the best bbq restaurants in Portland).
  • Tony’s place is great. We were able to make breakfast every morning on the stovetop which was perfect. The place was adorable & a great location. We’d definitely come back again!

    Chrysta2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely and quirky in every corner! If you have a car, this is an excellent place to stay in Portland.

    Matt2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Tony's cabin was a solid jumping off point for my adventures around the Portland/Cape Elizabeth area. I had several different filming locations I had to commute to every morning, and it always seemed an acceptable commute. As far as local amenities, I only eat at Amatos when I'm in town so not the best person to discuss that.

    Eric2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Tony’s place is so charming and comfortable! Small, but very cute and perfect for two people who want a cabin getaway, still close to the lively city of Portland! :) The place is very clean, and Tony was the ideal host— responsive and helpful. We felt confident that if we needed anything, he was a short text message or call away! When we arrived, an essential oil diffuser was on, which made it feel like home right away. We miss it already!

    Jessica2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Tony's little cabin was perfection! His design style and creativity is awesome. All the amenities you need for a weekend away. Very comfortable bed pillows and furniture. The kitchen is anything to people could want so you don't have to eat out for three meals a day. Location to Olde Port and all surrounding towns is fantastic can't go wrong booking this place.

    Lisa2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Tony’s place was exactly what we were looking for. It was a bit small but had everything we needed for our short stay (2 1/2 days). True to his advertisement, we never saw him but knew he was nearby if we needed anything. Great value!!

    Roy2020-01-26T00:00:00Z

A mix of cozy with modern touches, this just-renovated space is what you've been searching for! Come couples and small families, it's much more spacious than a hotel room and has far more character. We are located near quaint Deering Center, right outside the hustle and bustle of the city; a short walk to UNE graduate campus. We are on the bus line with close walking and biking paths. We've set this space up for you! So, whatever reason brings you to Portland, be our guests!
The entire apartment is set up for guest to be travel-friendly and convenient. Washer and dryer outside the unit, on the same floor.
  • Clean with plenty of amenities. Easy 10 minute drive to Old Port. Would certainly stay again.

  • Awesome place. Great location. Amazing price.

    Justin2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful trip to Portland and made even better by this wonderful Air BnB! It’s in a great location, about 10 minutes to downtown Portland, very clean, and many amenities including lots of blankets and toiletries. The apartment is great for a couple, friends, or family. It’s very nice to have a full kitchen as well! There was coffee for the Kureig machine, water bottles in the fridge and even candies around the apartment! Thank you for a great trip-would definitely stay here again :)

    Julia2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • This place was so much more than we expected! They had every little detail covered! We had privacy the whole time and were able to do a load of laundry before we headed back home. A 10$ Uber ride away from Old Port and the downtown area of Portland, and they were quick to answer any questions we had. Thanks guys for an amazing stay!

    Chelsea2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Incredibly clean. Hosts have added many thoughtful touches to make you feel at home. A great place to spend time with those you love

  • Perfect spot for a place to wind down after a busy day. The four of us enjoyed our stay here. We recommend!

    Cuong2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Really incredible spot. The hosts truly thought of every amenity and went above and beyond. Only thing of note is that if you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs because it’s a thin ceiling. Absolutely no complaints though. Perfect experience.

  • I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this stay! I had to come to Portland for both business and a social visit and Megumi's place gave me exactly what I needed! First of all, the space is very comfortable - it's a full 1 bedroom in-law apartment behind the garage. It's spacious with a full kitchen and bath as well as cable TV! The entrance is private with parking right outside the door and lovely woods on 3 sides. It is so peacefully quiet! Check in/out could not have been easier and communication was prompt and friendly. The space was impeccably clean and the bed was comfortable! The location is about 20 minutes from Portland and worth the short drive when you consider how reasonably priced Megumi's place is compared to anything within or just outside the city. I come to Portland at least a few times a year and will definitely stay here again and again!

    Lara2020-03-09T00:00:00Z

  • Location, hospitality, stylishness all exceeded my expectations but what really got me were Natalie & Jahn themselves. Stay here because you'll be amongst shy and thoughtful artists who fill the spacious cottage with the muted melodies of guitar and dreamy singing behind closed doors. Being around them (as fleeting as their appearance is out of respect for you) will make your heart happy and enrich your stay in one of the most beautiful areas of southern Maine.

    Leona2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Natalie and Jahn are both very accommodating and will do whatever is necessary to ensure you have a quality stay.

    Henry2019-12-01T00:00:00Z

    Sarah2019-11-12T00:00:00Z

    Collyn2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Natalie, Jahn, and Dunkin were amazing hosts. We had never stayed in an air bnb where the hosts also lived, but this was a pleasant surprise. They were down to earth, fun, accommodating hosts. We spent our last night hanging out with them singing, playing the guitar, and talking on the deck. We will definitely stay again and also stay in touch with these amazing, talented people!

  • if you can, make sure to book this lovely space. it’s a really sweet and spacious place with so much sun and charm. i was able to travel everywhere without a car. it’s a quick uber/lyft to portland or just take the bus that stops three minutes from their place. they have a schedule. it’s super easy, cheap and brings you into the center of portland. my bed was so cozy and the shower was great. coffee and bagels and cereal in the morning, they even managed hot coffee when a storm knocked out power to the entire town. so thoughtful and warm, i felt at home and slept like a baby every night. if you can, book this for a maine stay and say hi to dunkin for me. :)

  • The street is a bit tricky to find but well worth it. Charming little place and immaculately clean. Thoughtful touches like Keurig with pods supplied and even oatmeal, if desired. We enjoyed our stay!

  • Would come back in a heartbeat! What a great place to stay.

    Devin2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great place - very cozy, clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and even the pillows were awesome being the pillow snob that I am - I always bring my own pillows. I didn't need to use them as her pillows were very good. The apartment had lots of goodies as well to tide us over until we went out to breakfast each morning. There was a great coffee maker and we enjoyed a cup of coffee in bed reading the paper. Across the street was an awesome hiking place -- we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

  • Parking spot, private entrance, cozy spotless interior...What more could one ask for. Arriving later on a Friday evening, I almost missed Webber way, but couldn’t miss the sparkling lights outlining Melissa’s home and private side entrance to the accommodations. Again, this place may be one of the cleanest in which I’ve set foot. Place is cozy with a fabulous bed (firm, yet with a plush top). Finishing touches are lovely, from the art on the walls, to the books on the bookshelf. I was at home and relaxed the moment I walked up the stairs. I liked the little closet with fridge to the side of the bed. The bathroom is spacious, well lit, with both a heating vent and a wall unit to keep you warm. I slept like a log, however, being in such close proximity to rte. 1, you will hear the am traffic. Melissa has provided a background sound device with multiple settings for those who require such things. Melissa was in touch daily to make sure that we were comfortable and had all that we needed. I do hope to visit again at some point.

  • This place was perfect for us and our two young kids. The house was adorable and very clean and stylish. Jason and Trish were quick to answer questions and offer tips. We loved how easy it was to get to town (10 minute Uber) and that it was close to Peyton Park and the Baxter Blvd walking/biking trail. I wish we could’ve stayed longer! I’d highly recommend this place. You’ll feel right at home.

  • We had a great time! Everything was so clean and cozy. We loved the gas fireplace- you just turned on the heat and a beautiful flame started. It made the living room so cozy, and took the edge off on this chilly October weekend. Jason and Trish were awesome and sent us some ideas for things to do around Portland! We We would definitely return for a quick trip to Maine!

  • This is the third time we have stayed at Burt and Mary's charming place. As always, very nice place, comfortable, clean and conveniently located. Burt and Mary are great as are their dogs (very quiet) Indy and Georgia. Will continue to stay here when in the area.

  • What can you expect if you book here? The best of hospitality, the sweetest four-legged welcome committee, and a perfect location to explore the area. Mary and Bert are nothing short of perfect hosts, down to the flowers they’ve grown themselves and place on the table for you! The space is comfortable, private, and so snug that I slept through most of a major nor’easter; when I did wake up I almost thought I was in a treehouse, based on the beautiful views. Perfectly positioned to give you easy access to Portland and Freeport, this place is a gem. I loved staying here and would love to come back!

    Emily2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Mary and Bert were kind and welcoming. They gave us local recommendations and it was beautiful scenery. The space was warm and comfortable. Their home was a quick drive to Portland. Highly recommend!

Rinnai space heater made the space cozy, and the small kitchenette was perfect! Mary (and the Girls) left us some breakfast in the fridge. We had a lovely visit, and were perfectly placed between Portland and Freeport!

  • My family and I traveled to Portland for a couple of nights and had a great stay at Elyse, Libby, and Pete's place. The location was great, in a quiet neighborhood and only minutes from downtown.

    Zach2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • This little Airbnb was perfect for a weekend exploring Portland! Close drive to downtown in a cute neighborhood that we enjoyed walking around. The kitchen was fully stocked with both food and cooking supplies which we were thankful for. The book left by Elyse with tips and ideas for what to explore was very detailed and such a good resource. Check-in was clearly communicated and super easy. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

    Savannah2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had an INCREDIBLE time here! We had never been to Portland. We were waiting 4 weeks for this trip. We did not want to leave!! The house is so cozy and adorable. Driving time to downtown is no more than 6 minutes. Elyse was extremely accommodating. She messaged us the day after we arrived to make sure everything was okay. It was great to know how much she cares for her guests! The binder she has was so easy to follow for anything questions we had about the town. Check in/out was a breeze! If you are looking for some time away, I fully recommend staying here!!

    Lindsay2020-02-18T00:00:00Z

  • We had a great stay at Masey and Phil’s flat. It is just ten minutes outside of downtown Portland so it was the perfect home base for a weekend in town visiting friends. The flat is tucked away in the woods which had a very “off the grid” feel although it was just a short Uber ride to all of the places we visited throughout the weekend. There were also lists of local recommendations which was great for our first trip to Maine. We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to visit again!

    Jenni2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Faboulous gateway in Maine. Masey’s place is peaceful, homey and equipped with everything you need to relax. If you’re looking for a place to experience fall in Maine without complications, this is it!

    Carlos2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • My mom & I stayed here for the night with my dog. We had a wonderful stay! Masey & Phil had lots of tips on where to eat. We would love to return to try all of them! The tea selection they provided was a nice touch.

    Stacie2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • 1 word: Atmosphere! This place was incredibly soothing and exactly as advertised. You step into a fully furnished apartment with an amazing kitchen and layout. The diffuser and white noise machine were really nice touches that helped me restore before a long run the next day. I was only there for one night but was able to see and experience some of downtown Portland and participate in the Maine Half Marathon! I was so grateful for the local tips and was able to make it to Micuccis, Highroller, and Standard Baking Co. I had to leave right away as I had 5+ hrs ahead of me on the road but the atmosphere of the place and the small touches (Clif bars) made me feel at home. Phil and Masey’s place will not disappoint. Extremely convenient location and beautifully tucked into the trees. I would highly, highly recommend when you are in the area. Chris

  • A beautiful, funky place to stay. Older folks might not like it as there is a bit of a walk from the car park and there was plenty of snow. I had a great time, slept well even though it’s close to the road, and really enjoyed the communal breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

  • This was such a wonderful experience. I couldn't recommend it more. At the end of a long trip north, Mark's hospitality was such a gift. Careful details, a delicious breakfast, beautiful period features in a spacious and friendly and engaging atmosphere only a short drive from the Portland train station - I can't wait to book my next stay!

  • Great b&b with with rich heritage and knowledge host!

    Dmitriy2019-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • This was by far the best experience I have had with a host. Mark was kind and communicated effectivly. He was both patient and empathetic to my needs and gave me the upmost care. The place itself is historical and beautiful looking over the icy river front. Highly recommend.

    Stephen2019-12-06T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome late 19th century mansion, loaded with historical DNA. Mark is a great host and provides a nice breakfast to get your day started. If you're lucky to meet him, he has lots of anecdotes and stories to share about the house and its surroundings. A must stop by if you go thru the area. Mark is EV friendly, and let me plug-in my Tesla for an overnight top-up. Will definitely stop by again when in the area.

Cozy & newly renovated barn, across from trails and the Presumpscot River. Over the line to Portland -there is so much around for restaurants, music venues, beaches, lighthouses and nightlife. Barn is located in a quiet area to relax on the back deck with a glass of wine star gazing. Lots of beer breweries within walking distance. Short drive to the Old Port (Uber-$10) or check out the waterfront - there is much to see and do. Yellow barn is set back to the left of white ranch-don't miss it!
Portland has a lot to offer for winter fun. Not only will you be staying near breweries, but there are walking trails that turn into snow mobile trails and cross country skiing in the winter months. Shawnee Peak is within an hour's drive for day and night skiing. Portland Head light along with other light houses are abound in the area. You will find lots to do within Portland - museums, restaurants, planetarium, nightlife, and the list goes on. Or, find yourself relaxing near the fireplace with a good book and glass of wine. There is also a lobster pot with all the accessories to have your own clambake right at home.
We are just over the Portland line a in rural setting. There are walking trails across the street. Allagash Brewing Company along with other breweries are within walking distance or a short drive. Hannaford grocery store along with other shopping are minutes away. Old Port, Portland is an Uber request away for about $5-$7. (5 miles) We live in a quiet area but can be within minutes of where the hubbub is in Portland. Enjoy a glass of wine on the back desk next to a warm fire star gazing. Your stay here will be memorable.
  • The Barn was wonderful space, very well equipped, with communicative hosts all while enjoying our privacy in a lovely setting. This stay is a short Uber ride to Old Port with many great restaurants and plentiful quaint shops. My friend and I will definitely plan a return trip!

  • Diane and Joe’s place was a gem - cozy, comfortable, and clean, with lots of thoughtful touches, like fresh cream, coffee, quick breakfast items, and toiletries. A well-appointed rental. Checking in and out was easy, and communication was quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend, and perhaps stay again!

  • Was the perfect "home away from home" for a quick trip to Maine. Very cozy, welcoming vibe, with low-key hosts that let us do our own thing but were available at any point if we needed them.

    Monica2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Super clean space and quiet location. Very convenient to Portland.

    Katherine2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • While the "barn" is situated a little back from the road, and may take some extra caution looking for it, the location of Diane and Joe's home is convenient to local attractions if you are looking for some fun, and also private and quiet if that is what you are looking for. The house is a uniquely renovated barn that could not be more comfortable. Snacks and coffee are available and added a special touch. Diane and Joe were very responsive while allowing for privacy and peace and quiet. I would highly recommend the stay.

    Mike2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The owners respect your privacy with the barn just behind the house. We enjoyed the loft with the spiral staircase. Good location close to Portland. Thanks for sharing your cute barn.

  • Gorgeous! I rented the barn for a 30th birthday get away and it was everything I hoped for and more. I went by myself, but it can accommodate numerous guests. It was clean and welcoming and the check in was effortless. Even more beautiful than the pictures. I’m already planning to come back! I HAVE to bring someone to show them :)

Welcome! The suite is a recently renovated, spacious one bedroom apartment on the second floor of our home in Falmouth Foreside. The Falmstead, as we affectionately call our property, is quiet, yet convenient, only a 5 minute walk to Falmouth’s shops and restaurants. Portland, with all its amazing restaurants and shopping, is less than five miles or a $10 Uber ride away. Freeport is a 20 minute drive. Come stay one night while touring or make this lovely guest suite your home for a longer visit.
Recently renovated, new, clean, and bright! Minimalist, yet warm and inviting. There are unique details including custom cabinetry and use of reclaimed wood. All lighting is LED, most on dimmer switches. The galley kitchenette is equipped with an under counter compact refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, manual pour over coffee maker, electric kettle for boiling water, toaster, and microwave. Please note there is no stove. Bathroom with large tiled walk-in shower.
Falmouth Foreside is a residential area just outside of Portland. There is a small beach at the Town Landing with easy access to Casco Bay if you bring your kayaks or paddleboards. We love stopping at the Town Landing Market for sandwiches and beverages before a day on the water. There are hiking trails nearby, all nicely maintained and within walking distance from The Falmstead. Maine Audubon's Gilsland Farm is one mile away, with free admission and fantastic walking trails along the Presumpscot Estuary. There you'll find bird watching, places to picnic, and beautiful landscapes. Snowshoeing in the winter. Portland is now famous for its diverse, creative , fresh restaurant scene. But if you choose to stay closer to home, Falmouth restaurants walking distance away include Breakfast, Deli, Thai, Mexican, multiple Italian and Pizza, and our local The Foreside Tavern. For seaside dining The Dockside Bar and Grill overlooking Casco Bay is a longer walk, or a short drive away.

  • This cheerful, bright, super-comfortable rental is on a quiet street of lovely houses about 10 minutes from downtown Portland. Janet has stocked it with every toiletry imaginable, a Keurig coffeemaker, and elegant linens and towels. She also has thoughtfully written up information about restaurants, sightseeing opportunities, and a guide to the Portland area. We were there when it snowed and our little porch and walkway were swept by 8 am. This is a top-notch rental, and Janet is an outstanding host. She let me know that the space was available earlier than the checkin time, which I really appreciated, and she was always immediately available by text.

This is newly renovated cottage is in a quaint, quiet neighborhood! It's a short walk to the beach and the Town Landing Market in the heart of this picturesque Maine community. Perfect for a couple and 2 children (queen bed and new queen pull-out couch). A beautiful deck has just been added. • My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Nancy's place for our anniversary weekend. We were about 15 minutes from anything we wanted to do. The room and living area was very clean and comfortable. I would suggest bringing a robe since the shower is across the hall. The living space was very welcoming. There was coffee that we could make in the french press and a comfy couch and throw blanket to relax on the couch and read. There was also a large closet which helped with hanging things up instead of living out of our suitcases. The private entrance is also very convenient! I highly recommend Nancy's place - she was so sweet to talk to as well!

  • The place is amazing. Two very comfortable rooms with queen beds on the second floor and the ground is an open kitchen/living space. We really enjoyed the hot tub outside which is great for 4. The host is also amazing; she helped us with a self check-in (numpad on door) and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way! She even gave us some great suggestions for places to eat/have a drink which were awesome.. 10/10 would stay again.

This lovely, light-filled cape is perfectly located for your Maine adventure! Minutes from the Old Port, close to highway/airport, with major road access for traveling into the mountains & ski areas. Or, relax on the huge deck with a drink, or in the hot tub off the deck. Fully applianced & stocked kitchen means cook what you want; yes, there's a kettle for mandatory Maine lobster! Whole house carbon water filtration means that what comes out of the tap probably tastes better than what you buy!
Lots of windows, lots of light. 60MB Wifi! Blu-Ray DVD player with an NAD/Martin-Logan stereo and a Vizio flat screen TV...hey, you might as well enjoy your time inside, as well! New excitement...two mini-split AC units are being installed in mid-June...yes, that means central A/C! Please note: This IS a pet friendly house. If you have pet allergies, this is not the house to book...my cleaners are great, but there is no way that they can make sure that you won't have allergy issues!
Aldworth is part of a small, quiet, three-street neighborhood with lots of trees and green space. It's minutes from I-95 and from downtown Portland, with easy access to the west and north as well if you like to ski or hike in the mountains. The people in the neighborhood are fantastic; we've all helped each other whenever we needed it over the years. It's important to me that my guests show them the same respect that I do...no really loud parties late into the night, etc. Thank you!
  • David's place was great. The location is very convenient to downtown Portland as well as many breweries and nice restaurants close by. We enjoyed the hot tub as well!

    Selcan2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great house, we had four people and a pet. It’s the perfect size.....about a 10-15 minute Uber to downtown, would recommend and would stay again

    Ryan2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, quiet place. The hot tub is a plus! It was perfect for our short getaway. David responds quickly.

Our historic home, built in 1810, is on Main Street in the heart of Yarmouth village. The two bedrooms and bathroom are located on the second floor. You'll have a separate entrance (front door facing Main Street) with plenty of room for your belongings. Enjoy a freshly-made full breakfast daily, made to order. Our home is within walking distance to restaurants and is a convenient 5-minute drive from the highway. We welcome families of all ages, as our property sleeps 4 in two bedrooms.
You'll notice that there are no cleaning fees added to your stay with us. Not only does that save you money, but you can rest assured your rooms will be "owner-prepared" - that means Barry and I do all the cleaning. And there's no better cleaner than the owner of the property! Although your space is part of our home, it will feel very private to you. As you enter the front door (you'll be the only one using this entrance), you'll head up to your two bedrooms and bathroom. This space is securely separated from the other part of the second floor. Each spacious bedroom (16' x 20') is furnished with a queen bed with a Tempurpedic mattress. There is also a flat screen cable TV (with Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Video for account holders) in each room. Bedroom #2 also has a sitting area. Here you'll find a work station to check your email or have a snack, two comfortable chairs for watching TV/reading, and a small refrigerator. We've also provided an electric water kettle for a bedtime cup of tea. In the chilly months, we add a heated mattress pad on each bed. You are going to love it! And in the summer months, there is a window air conditioner in each bedroom. Between the two bedrooms is the bathroom with tub/shower and plenty of linens, a hair dryer, and baskets filled with most any toiletry you may have forgotten. Each bedroom has its own doorway to the bathroom. Got kids? You'll be in great shape here. For babies & toddlers, we have a Pack 'n Play, as well as a booster seat, high chair, and a stroller. We even have spare car seats if you need them. And there's plenty of toys and games for babies up to teenagers. Headed to the beach? You are also welcome to use our beach chairs, umbrella, tote bags, beach towels, and cooler. Parking is available on Main Street, directly in front of our home. You will find it quite safe to leave your car there overnight; however, if you prefer, you are welcome to use our driveway. Between November 15 and April 15 however, overnight parking on the street is not permitted, so you can just use our driveway. You will find Yarmouth is a very safe place to spend your time. In fact, the whole stay of Maine is very safe! Do you still have some questions? Just let us know!
Right here on Main Street, all within one block to 1/2 mile, you can walk to The Garrison, named 2019's best new restaurant in Southern Maine by the Portland Press Herald. Here on Main Street, you'll find top shelf pizza, a great bakery, a brewery serving great food, a bakery, a neighborhood pub, a farm-to-table restaurant, as well as a couple of coffee shops, and a spot to pick up soups and sandwiches. In addition, we have a handful of small shops to explore. Take a half hour to walk the sidewalk-lined streets, taking in the character and charm of all the 100-to-200 year old homes in the neighborhood. Around the corner from us, you'll find the Royal River Park with its 1-mile paved walkway. It's great for a walk, a run, or a bike ride. Just outside the park entrance, there are canoes available for rent for just $10 a day. No transporting necessary. Just put it in the calm waters and enjoy a quiet paddle up the Royal River. Within a five minute drive, you can check out several excellent restaurants here in Yarmouth. And remember, here in Maine, it's all casual dress. Portland, the largest city in northern New England, is a fifteen minute drive south. And Freeport, home of LL Bean and a vast array of discount shops, is five miles up the road. Fabulous beaches line our coast, our favorite being Ogunquit Beach, 50 minutes south. But you can find several nice beaches within a 15-25 minute drive.
  • Debbie and Barry were excellent hosts and I would happily visit their Airbnb again! The rooms were very comfortable and clean and provided a nice amount of privacy from the rest of the house. Debbie was very warm and helpful and I enjoyed all of her insights about the local areas.

    Sarah2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic place. Hosts were thoughtful, charming, helpful, and informative and super responsive but still very respectful of space and privacy. I love that I could stay in a house where the hosts were also living, in the center of town, on a pretty street, but still have my own staircase going up to the suite. Lots of separation in the house. Best bathroom and towel service I've seen in an Airbnb. Bright white towels without any stains, smelled clean and fresh without that smell of too much detergent. Not stingy about towels either, it felt like enough towels for a large family. Everything perfectly folded and presented. Not a molecule of dirt or hair anywhere in the bathroom or on the sheets.

    Mike2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • A great location with excellent hosts! Very clean, and our hosts made an excellent breakfast. We would definitely stay again. Thanks, Debbie!

    Ian2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay! Great location, excellent clean and well appointed accommodations and a yummy breakfast! Who could ask for more? We were greeted at the door, and Debbie provided recommendations on dessert and coffee. The mattress warmers were perfect on this chilly night. Speaking of coffee, the pot was right outside our rooms as soon as we woke. Breakfast was delicious. Hopeful I can return soon!

    Kim2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • What’s not to like about breakfast and conversations? Debbie and Barry were everything I expect when I stay with a local AirBnB host. Very communicative throughout the process, flexible with check in/out, super friendly and in general great hospitality overall. With the breakfast choices and the homemade remedies for sore throat, the little homely features and friendly conversations, it almost felt like a home away from home. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Maine. PS - the yogurt parfait with home made granola should have its own yelp listing.

    Harsha2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Debbie and Barry were wonderful hosts! Every detail is thought of and comfort is the priority in their home. We only stayed one night but couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. I would highly recommend this home.

This unconventional 1,200 sq ft. artist’s studio is private, quiet, comfortable and quirky. On the first level is a large multi purpose table, 4 ft. antique sink, water closet, custom slate and stone shower, and TV with free Netflix and Amazon prime. 15 steps lead you to the large, sunny, spacious bedroom with queen size bed, large daybed, sitting area with two antique settees and a porcelain sink. The decor is a mash up of antiques, fleamarket finds, and new pieces.
I put 100% into making the space one that I would be comfortable in myself: private, quiet, clean, convenient and comfortable. I expect my guests to treat it as if it were their own home, respect the time and effort that goes into maintaining it and ask that they; - PLEASE be careful if eating or drinking on the couches or daybeds. If necessary, there are always extra blankets or throws that can be put down. It’s much easier to clean wine or chocolate off that then it is to clean the upholstery – do not not wipe anything on the towels that will not come out in the wash - the same with the bed linens – Lower the heat/air conditioning if you’ll be out for a considerable amount of time. Only leave on lights that are necessary. – Kindly be conservative with flushing and, please mademoiselles and señoritas nothing that could potentially clog some VERY old pipes
The property is on the outskirts of Westbrook 5 miles from the heart of Portland. It abuts acres and acres of undeveloped woodland. Although close to a major highway that can take one anywhere it is a quiet, safe “kids and dogs” neighborhood.
  • Pictures can’t do justice to the degree of character and individuality this space has; it’s absolutely delightful. It’s perfect for a couple looking for an unusual, fun space in the area, especially if you love that antiquated, refurbished vibe or the art studio vibe. Pete was also very quick with responses about questions.

    Chelsea2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • The space is eclectic, rustic and filled with whimsical touches. Pete was very quick to respond with good humor as I arrived in the middle of a snowstorm! I would stay here again.

    Lorrie2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • It was wonderful staying in Pete’s carriage house for the weekend. The house was clean and quiet and perfect for two people. Pete was very friendly and accommodating, and the decorations around the house really show his personality and charm. Check in and check out was easy and simple and we were sad to leave our quiet getaway when the weekend was done.

    Taylor2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Pete’s place has so many quirky, fun things to look at. It’s a very warm, cozy place and I am so happy to have found this gem! I wish I could have stayed longer!

    Erin2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a really lovely stay at Pete's place. He is truly a super host. Communication was easy and prompt. The space exceeded my expectations. If you're traveling with a dog, THIS is the place to stay! There were so many thoughtful touches that made travel with our pup easy and enjoyable: extra towels for paws, throw blankets to protect the furniture, flashlights for late-night walks, dog treats (!), a dog bed, and a fenced-in back yard. Beyond the dog accommodations, the bed is comfy, the location is easy if you're traveling through Portland, and the space is cozy and interesting to look at. We hope to stay again on our next trip that way. Thank you, Pete!

  • Loved the space and the interesting personal touches. Very accommodating to dogs.

    Krissa2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely loved staying here! The place was eclectic and had so many fun stories attached to the decorations. The personal touches were greatly appreciated, and made my first overnight travel with my dog a success. The communication was amazing, and Pete was extremely accommodating. Would highly recommend this place, and wish I was able to stay longer to learn more about the art and traveling attached to the decor.

    Gina2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • We HIGHLY recommend this rental, especially if you have a taste for the eclectic. There is so much to see. The light in the bedroom is amazing. Great place for an artistic recharge. Convenient to South Portland and all its shopping and restaurants. Check out the breweries and distillery nearby.

Wild Rose Farm is a European-style Bed & Breakfast in an antique farmhouse. We pride ourselves on gracious hospitality in a friendly atmosphere. Fresh homemade continental breakfast is served daily - homemade scones & jam ~ fresh fruit, yogurt & granola ~ coffee, tea & juice. Our three well-appointed guest rooms each have an attached full bath, fluffy towels, toiletries & freshly pressed bed linens on premier memory foam mattresses.
The Casco Suite is located on the front of the house on the shady side... with wide original pumpkin pine floors and a beautiful old maple bed, the new memory foam mattress always promises a good nights rest. The suite can be reached by either the back stairs or the front stairs. The upstairs landing is shared with the Boothbay Suite. A cozy chair and antique secretary, along with the antique quilt hung on the wall, give this room an old fashioned charm. The vintage 1960's bath is charming, complimented by a large dressing room, with an additional second sink. The view out the back of the room onto the terrace garden is breathtaking.
Within walking distance of Falmouth Town Center and a quick ride into downtown Portland, the Farm is convenient and private.
  • The stay exceeded my expectations. A beautiful house and an amazing host. Valerie was super friendly and welcoming, provided us with delicious breakfast and freshly baked homemade scone every morning. Very close to the city yet far enough to have peace and quiet. Would definitely recommend staying here.

    Yimin2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable bed, fun conversation, delicious breakfast, and great location! Would stay again and recommend!

    Rachael2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • I can't say enough about how awesome this place is. Super comfy, home-y vibe, amazing food, great hospitality, and perfect location. Not to mention, the other guests staying during our time made for truly enjoyable breakfast convos and exchanges of must-see places. I Highly recommend!

    Kenneth2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second stay with Valerie and, as I expected, it was amazing! Breakfast was delicious per usual and she provided great recommendations for local attractions, including hiking spots and nearby breweries. Five stars!

    Alexandra2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy, comfortable, friendly, classy, relaxing...we were fed well on an elegant table with gourmet yet homey breakfast, slept in a snuggly bed, Netflix on the stormy night, raincoats given during the day... local lore and suggestions, personal quips and friendliness. Valerie really made us feel as if visiting dear friends and made it easy-going yet a high standard of service and care. We'll be back!

    Elizabeth2019-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • I only had a chance to stay at Valerie’s place for one night, but it was a great stay! Check-in was easy, the kitties are adorable, and the suite was so nice! Breakfast was great, too. Would recommend staying here!

    Danielle2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was great. We walked in to the smell of homemade coffee cake that would be part of breakfast, and got a friendly tour of the downstairs amenities. Valerie immediately makes you feel at home - we don't always enjoy a lot of interaction with hosts, but that was not the case here. Our bed in the Casco Suite was very comfortable - the best night's sleep I've had away from home. The bathroom in our suite was a little dated, but in a way that went perfectly with the charming house. It was sparkling clean and came with plenty of fluffy towels and toiletries, plus a second sink and vanity area that is super convenient. Breakfast was delicious and accommodating of our schedule (best scones and homemade jam, eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, fruit yogurt, granola... the works). Valerie had great tips and easy plans for us to have a perfect day exploring around Portland and the surrounding areas. We can't recommend staying here enough. Our only regret was not taking a night to enjoy a fire in the (attached) barn to relax and play games or watch a movie. Next time!

  • Jahn & Natalie’s home is a wonderful space that both promotes the communal aspect of air bnb but also provides a private retreat to enjoy the Portland area. The location is amazing, the amenities are so helpful, Duncan the dog is so cute, Jahn and Natalie are wicked helpful and great conversation. They made me feel welcome and respected my need for quiet and isolation while on a 4 day intensive training. I will definitely stay with then again!

Beautifully updated building built in the 1890s still maintains tons of period charm with a very modern open concept addition. It has been freshly renovated with a brand new kitchen, living room, bathroom and flooring in half the unit. The place is conveniently located off the Washington Ave exit and it's super easy to find. No fighting in traffic and looking for a parking spot here.
This first floor unit has just gone under a complete makeover. It has a nice new open concept kitchen flowing right into the living room which overlooks the trees and backyard feeling very private and cozy. This kitchen/living area came out amazing and is a super cool spot to hang out in. It is a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom unit. The first bedroom has many original features. It has a sleep number bed which is very comfy and allows the user to adjust the firmness of the mattress. The second bedroom is smaller with a brand new full size bed and a custom barn board accent wall. The third bedroom is set up as an additional sitting area with a couch. The couch folds back and turns into an additional full size sleeping area with sheets and pillows provided. The bathroom is unique as well. A beautifully tiled shower is a work of art in itself and a joy to shower in. The entire unit is bright and spacious. The living room opens up to a small deck and a large back yard. Perfect for grilling, hanging out, or just to bring the dog out. Very easy access into the unit. Just 3 stairs to get into the front entry way and the unit is the only one on the first floor.
It is located in a residential neighborhood consisting of single family homes, duplexes, and a few three unit buildings as well. It is within walking distance to 2 thai resturaunts, bagel shop, ice cream stand, and a very cute dive bar. It is a quiet neighborhood and very safe.
  • Lucas is truly a super host. He was very responsive in all of our messages and When we had an issue with the door lock he addressed it immediately, on Christmas day no less! And the place itself is just as the pictures show. Very clean and cozy. He even left a couple special touches for the holidays like putting lights on the giant tree in the main room. Highly recommend! Oh, my dog loved it too and it’s great to have a place that’s clean and cozy for people and welcomes dogs.
