“We are lucky to be walkable to Denver’s largest park. Walk around the lake to see the pavilions, the zoo, the museum and great views of the city and mountains. Rent a bike and ride around the 3-4 mile loop. Or run with a dog like everyone else. Don’t venture out in the dark by yourself.”

“Our beautiful local park, located half a mile up Louisiana. Great for a leisurely stroll, or a nice jog. Stop by Nixon's coffee shop on the way there or back, or grab a Duffy roll and take a picnic. I feel very comfortable there during the day, but at night I give it a pass. ”

“Less than a half mile to the northwest part of literal park is Cheesman Park, to which the surrounding neighborhood is named after. The park it self used to be a graveyard back in the day, but that doesn't deter people from using this park for weddings, parties, and recreation. One of my favorite place to which I have a yearly membership for is the Denver Botanic gardens, nestled on the East side of the park -worth a visit even during winter, it has the largest greenhouse in Denver as far as a multitude of diverse plants ;) :)”
