Very comfortable room in a stylish yesteryear home. Unlimited fast internet. Lock up garage. Inner-city Holland Park. Close to busway and freeway and just 15 minutes to the city. Your bedroom includes blockout curtains you can sleep in and plenty of storage space. You are the only guest/s and we will look after you or just leave you to enjoy the privacy of your own comfortable bedroom with air conditioning. The room is big enough for a couple. If you want to bring kids we have a swag you can use in your bedroom, or a daybed we can bring from the sunroom to the loungeroom so the kids can be close to you. This is a good space for two adults who can share the queen bed. The spare swag and day beds are best suited for children. Please make yourself at home. There is plenty of room so feel free to work in comfort in any of the shared areas, use the desk in a private office, watch tv, enjoy the peaceful sunroom and back yard, make yourself a meal in the funky kitchen, or even buy a home cooked meal for $15 (by prior arrangement). Your host is an excellent cook. :)
Close to the freeway and walking distance to buses. Quiet and safe inner suburban location. Plenty of parking. Just 15 minutes to the CBD. The sunroom is a nice place for your morning coffee, looking out onto a private forest at the rear of the property.

COVID FREE - private sanctuary surrounded by trees, high level of privacy and space, house is very clean and sanitary. Fresh air and own personal area separate from other rooms. The house is both close to the city and very tranquil. People often say that it is like a resort - lots of trees and birds outside. The bus stop from which you can reach the city is just a few minutes away. We have a pet cat Mary who is very friendly. Great house for long and short stays.
Your bedroom has a double-size bed, a big wardrobe, a desk and a chair. It's got a window, high ceiling, shutters and flyscreens in the windows. It's modern, fresh and cosy.
One of the nicest neighbourhood in the entire Brisbane - family houses with wonderful views at the city and located on hills.

  • The host Daniel is kind !! It's far from the city, but you can go by bus at once, and if you walk a bit, the supermarket is just a minute away. Well, if you come alone or if you don't know much about Australia, the host will explain it well. It's a cheap hostel, but it's definitely worth it. If you are looking for a place to stay, this is the place. Dani, the host is very kind and nice person and even If you don't know about Brisbane she would tell you every thing. Thanks for everything Dani.

Shops and bus are located less than 1km. 45 minutes to reach the city by train. Perfect place if you are working at the Brisbane Port or Raffinery (10-15 minutes only)
    You enter the room through a separate entrance so you feel totally home. All comfort for you : Double bed (new mattress), aircon/heater, fridge, microwave, toaster, table, chairs, sofa to watch TV, ... You can have your meals on the undercovered terrace.
    Many opportunities to have full breakfast around, fastfood (thaï, chineese, burgers, …) or restaurants. You can get 2 busses going to the city at about 500m. Train is at 4km.

    This a only two years new double story house. There is one double room for rent upstairs. In the room there is a new double size bed, a desk and wardrobe. The house have Ducted airconditioner to all the area. Walking distance to the train station, bus stop and shopping center
    Our house is only 5 minutes walk to the Pinelands shopping centre which has many restaurants, coles, post office, Asian markets....
    7 minutes walking distances to the Altandi and Runcorn train station, 6 minutes walking distance to the bus stop. Pinelands shopping centre is also 650 meters away. Service station is just across the road.

    Very quiet place. Great neighbourhood. Free parking available No smoking allowed in bedroom. If you want to smoke outside ask the host. Ash tray will be provided to you to smoke outside. But Do not throw your cigarettes buds outside in the garden. Fridge, microwave and Free Wifi access. If you require anything give us a call and we will do what we can to assist you. Private access to toilet. Living longer than 3 days. You can use the dinner table when host not using to eat dinner and lunch Laundry and Ovan will be extra charge $10 speak to host at the house
    It has an amazing view outside. Great neighbourhood. Close to everything bus stop, shopping, beautiful parks and hiking, it is all walking distance.

  • Hasi’s beautiful family were very hospitable. They welcomed me so warmly and I couldn’t get enough of chatting with his caring mum. I must say one of the tourist attractions of their beautiful home was the handsome Cat! Oh and the view from the balcony where the dining table is. I felt very comfortable and certainly was well looked after! I’ll definitely go and stay with them again.

  • Impeccable host. House was immaculate. Several restrictions while staying as a guest, so make sure you ask. Hosts have a cat which is very friendly. Street parking only. 2 bathrooms and toilets (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs). The family of 3 (all adults) live in the house too and sometimes are up early (6am). Walking distance to bus stop or a short drive to shops. Excellent place to stay for the price. Only negative was that the bed was too firm for my liking (my preference is medium)

The room was cozy and the kitchen has everything you would need. The house is far away from the city if you're using public transportation but it's in a really quiet and beautiful neighborhood.     The place is located in Fortitude Valley, Queensland, Australia. Fortitude Valley is a contradiction in itself – raw, yet sophisticated. The Valley, as it is affectionately known, was Australia’s first dedicated entertainment district and continues to be a hive of activity. The bed was a little bouncy and you can feel the movement of the other person if you share it. I’m a little sensitive to that so some people might not notice or mind. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

  • George's place it's fabulous. Literally I was breathtaking from the moment I got there. The lights, the details, the view. You'll be delighted in every step of your staying. The appartment is more spacious and better equipped that I tought just looking the photos. Everything that I need (and some things I didn't even think I need) was there without have to ask and without extra charges. The communication was easy and the place is very well located. It's a full-furnished apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 secured garage park space. It's fully secured with intercom. There is a large living room and an open balcony.
    A very good equipped kitchen with all kinds of Kitchen wares, such as refrigerator, bread toaster, coffee machine, boiling kettle, rice cooker, electrical oven, dishwasher, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. There's a washing machine, a clothes dryer and a bathtub in the special guest bathroom. Electric iron and table are available. It's close to CBD of Brisbane. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to South Brisbane Parklands and the Goodwill Bridge. Then across the Goodwill Bridge, you will arrive at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) and the entrance to the beautiful Botanic Garden. In 10 minutes you can ride a scooter to the St Lucia Campus of University of Queensland or the Kangaroo Point. The Mater Hospital is on the opposite side of the street. So I provide a big discount if you are a staff member or a visitor or related personnel of Mater Hospital. I’m a doctor in Mater Hospital so I’ll leave the apartment for yourself during the working daytime. I can provide an adapter for international travellers. Enjoy it, Please!

  • It was really nice to spent a night in Sheng’s accommodation. The appartement was really clean and cosy. We could use the washing machine and dryer. We had a flight very early the next day and he let us stay as long as we need before go to the airport which was really helpful. Sheng is really welcome and fast answer.   • I had an excellent stay at Melissa and Rene’s Place. The facilities were really good: I could cook in the spacious kitchen, swim in the pool anytime and use the covered gym area for yoga practice. I sat outside at the table to read and use my laptop as well. I rented the smallest room at the rear of the house, which suited my perfectly as a base for various other trips. The common areas (bathroom, kitchen and living room) were clean and spacious. A ten minute stroll away there is a wonderful mangrove walk (and bird sanctuary), which I visited every day or so, and the house is right by open grassland and practically on the shoreline, so it’s very peaceful here. Wynnum central station is a short walk away, which easily gets you into Brisbane or down to Manley if you don’t have transport ( which I didn’t). They also have bikes to lend out to quickly get you into town. Altogether I can thoroughly recommend their place for short term or longer term stays!

    Cool, comfy and close to the CBD. If you're coming to Brisbane to visit the CIty, QPAC or Southbank Parklands, then my place will suit you perfectly. Just 6 km to the city, it is a quick drive or better still, the express bus is at the door and will have you in town in around 10 minutes.
    During your stay, you will have the lower floor to yourself (apart from my office) which includes your bedroom with TV and table , a private bathroom , toilet , and back deck surrounded by native trees.There is basic kitchenette with Microwave , toaster , kettle and fridge with crockery and cutlery, and I am working on improving that as of Xmas 2020. The lower floor is segregated by a locked door , so your privacy is assured and if you wan't to chat or ask a question, I'm just upstairs. Your bedroom was originally my Theatre Room, so it is quiet , has AC, and can be darkened during the day if you need to sleep!
    Holland Park is close to the City and the Freeway is close by , so it is easy to get to the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast.The famous "Gabba" cricket ground is a short drive away and many local Coffee shops are close by. There are shops nearby and a supermarket is a 5 min drive away. There are two coffee shops in walking distance , and the local precinct of "Stones Corner" , with it's cafe's and shops is a short drive

    It's a nice OLD house, the bus station is around 5 to 7 mins walking distance. Direct buses going to Garden city and Brisbane City. The nearest shopping center is 1.7km away, neighborhood shops are 800 meters away. It's a quiet neighborhood, however, it's next to a school, if you need a sleep in during the weekdays and you are a light sleeper, it would not be suitable for you. Feel free to ask anything. There's a small cat on the property.

    We're lucky enough to be in a very friendly neighborhood. Neighbors on all sides wave and say hello and there are often people out and about exercising, walking dogs or just enjoying the beautiful South East Queensland weather. We have near by Thai, Indian & Chinese restaurants as well as a number of fast food chains, a great butcher, a Woolworths and a number of other shops a 10 minute walk away in the Alexandra Hills Shopping Centre.

    A beautiful private self contained space situated close to all Brisbane has to offer. Shops,restaurants, Roma street bus and train station, central train station are with in 10 min walking distance as is the city. Outstanding location with your own back yard
    The space is your own self comtained area with own access. The location is a 10 minute walk to the city beside Roma Street Parklands and a 20 minute pleasant walk to Suncorp Stadium if your planning to see a concert. We are very close to St Andrews Hospital as a landmark if looking on the map. If coming from the airport catch the air train and disembark at Central Station....walk up little Edward Street and turn left into Leichardt St or catch an uber taxi to Spring Hill around $29.00. However the best option is to pre-book the bus service from Con-x-ion and let the driver know you would like to be dropped off at Summit Apartments on Leichhardt St. The bus stop at the top of the street is where Con-x-ions will drop you off and pick you up to go back to the airport. Walk down the street to number 24 and your here! Cost is 18.00 each way per person which is convenient and less expensive than the train or taxi.     Spring Hil is a great little suburb, it overlooks Brisbane being on the top of a hill. The area has 4 great cafes for breakfast and lunch. Everything is very central and 7/11 / IGA is close by as are restaurants and cafés. There are two swimming pools located in Spring Hill and the area is very safe. There are a lot of international students that stay in this area as we are without the noise of the city and the feel of a funky suburb :) If you're headed to the city it is a 10 minute walk down the hill into town travelling through Roma Street Parkland or straight down the hill to King Georges Square which is a good landmark. If your visiting hospitals, either the Brisbane Private, St Andrews War Memorial or Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital they are all very close. We are also a 20 minute walk to Suncorp Stadium should you be attending a concert or the footy. My partner is a lawyer and Qld supporter and I live the Blues We hope we have given you a bit of an idea about the area and surrounds and hope you'll love Spring Hill as much as we do :)

  • Great Location , Great Host , and Great Place. The place is good for privacy, especially the en-suite bathroom and also comes with a basic kitchen and fridge, it basically has everything you need. I would definitely stay here again next time.

  • This is a fantastic place! A large bedroom, wardrobe, ensuite, dining area and kitchenette. A lovely quiet neighbourhood, parking on the street, close to buses, and in a great location not far from the airport, and in-between the beaches and the city centre. Samson was welcoming, quick to respond to messages, helpful. Great value for money. My family would highly recommend!

  • I had a great stay! Very friendly and respectful hosts! I needed a quiet and peaceful place close to town as I was there for a course and Om Shanti House was exactly that. The house was clean and tidy and I was able to come back and rest after a long day. Thank you!
