In the heart of the Périgord Limousin Regional Natural Park, 30 minutes from Limoges: at the exit of the village, past the stone bridge, the alley of old trees welcomes you in a bath of greenery. The wooded land on 6 ha is nestled in a meander of the small river, the Gorre. The mill is located along the head race; a bamboo grove softens the northern flank while to the south, the terrace of the cottage overlooks the edge of the woods. The facade mirrors the old dwelling house and the ruined barn.

Towels and bed linen provided. Open your doors on to a verandah facing east for the morning sunrise with a table and chairs for outside dining. La Berthussie is situated at the edge of Cussac, a village in the Perigord/ limousine nature reserve: soft hills, lakes, historical sites, and lovely walking trails. Our peaceful and spacious house of 240 sq. m can easily host a family of 8. It is surrounded by a vast mature garden, a private pond just 50m from the house, a chestnut orchard and fruit trees. The supermarket is 5 minute walking distance, as are the boulangerie, a cafe- restaurant/ pharmacie and the weekly market square.
