Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Runovići

We had a wonderful stay in the villa. Everything was there, house was clean, beautiful and quiet surroundings.

we had an amazing stay at Marina's beautiful villa. it's even more stunning than the photos. The pool and BBQ room were perfect outside areas that kept the kids busy and entertained and in eyesight. Indoors was beautifully clean and the kitchen has everything you need. The host kindly provided loads of fresh fruit, some juice and some lovely cheese, breads and cold meats on arrival. If you are looking for a tranquil holiday location i'd highly recommend and definitely stay again.

First of all - it was a wonderful vacation. Ana and her parents/grandpa are very nice and helpful hosts. On our arrival they offered us a plate with dalmatian groceries (cheese, ham, red/white wine, beer and bread) They helped us with every question we had, gave some predictions on possible journeys and all that stuff. The house is also very nice and well equipped. There is nearly everything you can even think about. Only thing we missed is a normal coffee machine. Ana can provide you a capsule machine, but this capsules are way more expensive than normal coffee. So it was cheaper to buy a complete coffee machine (15€ at Plodine) and coffee, instead of buying those capsules! ;-) Pool is big (8m x 4m) and crystal clear. For upcoming rentals I would like to leave some general information - Be aware that in an area of 10km is nearly nothing. The local store (5 min away) is very expensive and the first "real" supermarket (Plodine) is in Makarska (35 Min by car!) - Please make sure that you change money at a "real bank" and not using an ATM standing on the sideway. This ATM will charge you with a unbeliveable fee of 20-25% - regardless of the usage of EC/Master or Visa-Card !!! - Just skip Makarska as a "sight seeing idea" - its completly overcrouded and very loud due to "rich people" driving their Lamborghinis, Porsches forth and back on the main road where the restaurants are located. The stone beach is only 5m depth so you have to lay there like fish in a tin. - Please be aware, that the house is located in a valley. So the mobile network is almost weired. You dont even have EDGE. The house offers a WiFi but this is (for sure) also connected to the mobile network. The external antennas gain more speed than a smartphone/tablet but this network seems to be heavily overcrouded - due to only one mobile tower for the complete region. So in times where a lot of people be at home (mostly on weekends and after 1700) the speed drops to 1Mbit!!! No possibility to stream videos for the kids or even listen to streamed radio. Due to this (kids can't watch Netflix/Disney eg!) - and this my ONLY suggestion to Ana to achieve the Top-Level - I would recommend to buy a satelite station for TV. Current TV in the house only has up to 5 croatian broadcasting stations and everything is analog. All other offered stations are encrypted. So this is also no option for kids. With a satelite station you can offer german/english broadcasting in digital by only spending 100€ once. That's it. I highly recommend Ana and her house and please make sure that you play a round of BALOTE with her grandpa. He's a master :) Thank you for an awesome vacation.

We were very happy with our stay. There were stairs to the beach, which was a nuisance at high temperatures, but it didn't take longer than 10 minutes. The view from the deck was insane! The rooms had everything you needed. Everything worked flawlessly. Plus the availability of cleaning supplies, paper, and towels if needed. Ozren and his wife are a very hospitable and lovable marriage. We were given gifts, for which we are very grateful. We highly recommend staying in Podgora ! See you soon

Laura and her whole family were just the most incredible hosts, I have never experienced such kind, caring approach and helpfulness. We had everything we needed and much more. We felt that we spent our holidays with our family. Before our arrival she provided a lot of local tips where to go for a dinner, coffee, beaches, ect. Likewise she always answered and advice on any of our questions, requests. I can only recommend. Thank you once again. ♥

Great apartment, especially the view from the balcony!

Best address and best host in town.

Very welcoming, friendly and interesting Ms. Ivna and her daughter Branka. Nice place, clean and tidy. The kitchen has everything you need, even a barbecue on the terrace. There is a large Kaufland supermarket around the property. The sea is about 20-30 minutes away. But this is even good, because there is an opportunity to walk and see the port, boats, architecture. Nearby there is a wonderful park, walking what kind of place, you can get to an incredibly picturesque beach. September is the best time for a holiday in Dalmatia: not hot, still warm evenings and warm sea (clean and transparent), few tourists and a bunch of place on the beach!

We stayed in the accommodation in July 2024 as a family of four with 2 children for 5 days. We enjoyed Brela very much. The hillside location allows a great view, but of course you have to climb a staircase with over 100 steps to the sea. The house consists of 5 units with which you share the pool. We were able to arrange well here. The apartment is at the very top of the house. Views and privacy are top notch. The equipment is also very modern. Unfortunately, however, not perfect in the implementation. We had sockets torn out of the wall and in the evening either the drain or the air conditioner smelled. Overall still a great apartment and we felt comfortable.

This is the perfect place if you want to spend your time outside, relaxing in the beach just outside the front door. Toni gave us lots of tips, including recommending a rental car, without which getting to the airbnb would be challenging, and limit your freedom to explore.

We only stayed a night on our way from Split to Dubrovnik, but Verica was super sweet and waited for us to arrive to help with check in. The room was clean and very close to the beach, with a gorgeous balcony facing the sea. We only wish we had more time to spend there

Our vacation at the villa was super pleasant and we were warmly welcomed. The property is very large and has pomegranate trees, apple trees, pear trees and the tree we ate the most from was the fig tree, with the most delicious figs ever. In addition, the whole property was very clean and you could immediately see that a lot of importance was attached to cleanliness and hygiene, which was very important to us with children. My children loved swimming and jumping in with the life jackets. Above all, the visit of cats that probably belonged to the neighbors, had our children very pleased. Also nearby was the sea (25-30 min) where we made an excursion and also grocery stores are easily accessible (5-10 min). The view was also mega, the whole thing has a landscape vibe as it is on top of the mountain. What also struck us positively were the insect screens on all windows and balcony door. All in all, very nice family vacation with 3 children.

Peaceful and private location. There wasn't much to do or see nearby, but good transportation. The host responded nopeean was helpful. The apartment was clean and had plenty of room for a family of 5. Basic appliances were found for cooking. There was a place for the car in the front yard.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa! The place is incredibly spacious, offering more than enough room for everyone to relax and enjoy. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival, which made a great first impression. The villa is fully equipped with all the amenities you could wish for—a BBQ area, swimming pool, jacuzzi, pool table, and plenty more to keep everyone entertained throughout the stay. Communication with the host was another highlight. They were very responsive and friendly, making the whole booking and check-in process smooth and stress-free. The only area for improvement would be the Wi-Fi connection, which was a bit weak at times. It wasn’t a major issue for us, but it’s something that could be upgraded for future guests who may rely on a stronger connection. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and highly recommended!

We are delighted with the accommodation! Fully equipped accommodation to the smallest detail, even a tablet for the dishwasher. We were greeted with a gift of the house (drinks, fruit,…). The host offered to wait for us at the agreed place to make it easier for us to find the house. We had the option of early check-in. Everything was clean and the host gave us tips and advice on local attractions. We'll come again!

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at Ivan’s villa. From the moment I enquired about the villa Ivan couldn’t have been more helpful! He replied to all of my questions super quick & full of information!! When we arrived we were welcomed by Ivan’s parents who were just so lovely & helpful, during the holiday they would check in & even brought us fresh cherries! It was nice having them close by. The villa itself is beautiful, modern, clean, homely.. everything is so well thought out. We were a group of 15, 8 adults & 7 kids, there was plenty of room for everyone, dining tables big enough, enough sun loungers etc. Hot tub, gym & 2 large bedrooms are in a separate building but all lovely (exactly the same as the main villa!) The location is stunning, the scenery is beautiful!! There’s a small shop 500m away has all the essentials then a slightly larger shop about 10-15min walk but a lovely little walk :)

We (9 friends) had a fantastic holiday at Slaven's villa (the owner). Slaves took us to the villa after arrival and gave a tour of the area. In addition, we had contact almost every day whether we needed anything or if everything was going well. Very pleasant! The bedrooms were neat and spacious enough. However, we did not find or have been able to get the air conditioning on. This was also not necessary for us, so we did not pass on to Slaves. The jacuzzi gave an error at some point, after which I contacted Slaven. After 2 hours he was at the door to solve this problem. Later, someone came again to change the jacuzzi. All in all, fantastic holidays in a fantastic villa! Highly recommended if you want to relax with a larger group of people. As also indicated in the listing, it is forced to have a car to get to the villa comfortably.

Very nice and quiet neighborhood, you can easily get to most of the towns on the sea side or travel around the area. We visited Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubrovnik Split and many other coastal towns. The area of Imotski itself has many attractions, including the opportunity to swim in the local lake. Restaurants in the area were high,. We recommend it to anyone who is interested in both lounging and active sightseeing. Both of these things are achievable in this place.

Our stay was just great. The hosts were wonderful very warm and helpful. Traditional old house with soul offered tranquility we expected. Everything was very clean, beautiful surrounding with vineyard and clean swimming pools. Not for people who expect walking distance to all entertainments, restaurants and beach, as described it took about 20 minutes by car to reach the seaside. We were aware of it and thanks to that we visited many nice interesting places, beaches. Problem with park lots (most are paid), so better to go early in the morning. We got all necessary instructions from our hots starting from the best places to eat, what is worth of sightseeing, etc… We really loved our stay.
