Despite the fact that the cottage is located in the backyard, there is plenty of peace and privacy and has its own terrace with picnic table and comfortable chairs. It is a quiet residential area, but of course, you can also hear ambient noise. The Wilgenhuisje is located at the outskirts of the village of Koekange, nature parks are fully available in the area.

Relax in an oasis of greenery from spring to early autumn, a beautiful warm autumn feeling when the trees change color or seek coziness in the winter months. In the beautiful surroundings, there are many places to visit. Giethoorn, fortified town Steenwijk and the Havelterheide. Furthermore, there are three national parks nearby, NP Weerribben Wieden, the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld.
