BALTHASAR Resort Guesthouse on the Rebhang in the Rheingau

The "Balthasar Ress Guesthouse" is the guest house of the renowned Balthasar Ress winery in the Rheingau. Primarily designed for the winery's own guests, it is also sometimes available to other guests. The architect's house is located in the "Rebhang" settlement, one of the most exclusive and beautiful residential areas in the Rheingau wine-growing region. The settlement is located at an altitude of around 400 m, around 300 m above the Rhine and is surrounded by meadows, vineyards and the forest.

A two-bedroom stylish and comfortable holiday apartment for up to four, with a terrace and picture-perfect view of the valley and mountains below. A cedar barrel sauna is available (at extra cost). The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. You can also visit our herd of Scottish Highlanders!

We have expanded the former granary under the roof of the old customs castle: 3 double rooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 combined kitchen/living room, ideally suited for a cozy stay with a historic ambiance. The flower corner in the courtyard with table and benches is also at your disposal. The city, park and pier are within walking distance. Accessible, lovingly furnished apartment, with old half-timbered elements & modern furniture. The conversion took place from Oct. 18 to March 19. The parking lot is right outside the door. The apartment is equipped with a cozy relaxation area with massage chair to relax and unwind. The rooms are open and bright. In the sleeping area there is a high-quality box spring bed, 1.80 x 2 m and in the living room the couch can be used as a sofa bed 1.40 x 2 m. TV is rotatable.

In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.

Our tiny house has a bathroom with a freestanding bathtub in front of a panoramic window, a sleeping level accessible via a spiral staircase, a fully equipped kitchen and a sauna in a separate building. Outside, we offer a wooden terrace with pergola, an outdoor shower and a 1700 sqm garden.

The cottage (approx. 70 sqm) is a converted stable and is listed as a monument. It is surrounded by vineyards, wineries, restaurants and is only a 5-minute walk to the Rhine. In principle, it is only suitable for 2 people. The cottage is fully equipped with, for example, a washer/dryer, SodaStream, internet-enabled TV, WiFi, lounge furniture on the terrace and many extras. Pets are welcome :-)
