Cosy Seafront Loft, Wonderful View

This is a comfortable L-shaped studio apartment, situated in a house facing the waterfront, in the historical town of Bakar. There is a living room with a kitchen, a small bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. The loft is on the fourth floor of an old stone house. You can enjoy a wonderful view of the sea, the boats and the old houses on the hill built closely to one another in traditional Mediterranean style. If you want to know real Croatia and you don't like the tourist crowds, Bakar is the right destination for you. From here you can make trips and get to know the Northern Adriatic Area and its natural and cultural attractions (the Islands of Krk and Cres, Plitvice Lakes National Park, Risnjak and Northern Velebit National Parks, the Istrian Peninsula, some amazing towns like Opatija, Pula, Rijeka, Rovinj. The town itself has everything you need – restaurants, cafes and grocery stores, a post office and a pharmacy. If you want to go swimming the nearest pebbly and rocky beaches are about 3 km away easily reachable by bus or a bike. The bus stop is just next to the house. There are plenty of other beaches within 10-15 km. However, staying in Bakar is meant for those people who are NOT primarily interested in sunbathing but rather in sightseeing, hiking, cycling, peace and quiet and relaxing atmosphere of a small town. In the apartment you've got a cable TV, Wifi, a washing machine and it is air conditioned. A free parking lot is about 200 m from the house. (URL HIDDEN) FOR NATURE LOVERS, we offer guided hiking tours, with experienced guides. You can choose from the following: EASY HIKES: Risnjak National Park (20 km ride, 2-hour hike), 1528 m a.s.l. Northern Velebit National Park (95 km car ride, 3 to 6-hour hike) . The car ride finishes by the mountain hut in Zavižan, 1594 m a.s.l., from where different peaks can be reached, all above 1600 m a.s.l. or you can choose to walk a part of the marvelous Premužićeva Trail, stretching all the way south for about 60 km. (URL HIDDEN) MEDIUM DIFFICULTY HIKES: Učka Nature Park, 1396 m (20 km car ride, 5-6 hour hike) . Hiking to Učka starts at the sea coast. We also offer other possibilities, and there are PLENTY :) according to your own preferences. Surrounding area abounds in natural beauties, so we can decide together what would be best for you (river sources, such the beautiful source of the Kupa river, nearby mountain peaks covered by amazing forests, hiking on the rocky plains of the island of Krk). Modern apartment in Kostrena, ideal for two or three people. The apartment building is equipped with a gym and a shared outside pool. Close to the sea (1 km, 3 minutes by car), surrounded by forest and nature, relaxing environment and you can hear birdsong every morning. Close to the center of Rijeka (7 min by car), the center of Kostrena with beaches and bars (3 min by car). The kitchen has everything you need for cooking (pans, pots...) as well as cutlery. Free private parking included.

The apartment is located in a quiet oasis with free public parking in the old town in the center of Rijeka, right behind the Governor's Palace, 100 meters from the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral, on the ground floor of a historic building, renovated with love. We were notified immediately about the check-in. Everything worked great. We were very warmly welcomed and everything was explained to us. We felt at home in the great apartment and the place with its bays and fish restaurants, the pizzeria and the sunsets from the terrace at Monika's were beautiful. We will come back and wish Monika all the best for the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jelena's appartment! Great location, cozy and clean appartment with modern furniture and home appliances. I spent 3 nights at Dunja’s place, and I wish I booked 3 more ! She made me feel very welcome by making me traditional Croatian coffee when I arrived, and gave me a few local recommandations too. Just a warning, this is a very small village, and if you don’t have a car getting around the region might be a bit difficult, especially cause there’s not that many buses, but I knew it from the beginning and that’s exactly what was appealing to me so I’m not complaining! The place is small but very clean, and stayed cool even though the weather wasn’t ! I would definitely recommend a stay here :)
