Our 2-person Canadian canoe and our 3 bicycles are available for rent at a reasonable price.

The house is located directly next to the Medieval church on the largest mound in the Netherlands. Many beautiful authentic villages in the area, the endless polders and the bird (spot) rich salt marshes of the Wadden Sea can be admired within cycling distance. A visit to the city of Groningen and the islands of Schiermonnikoog and Borkum is also worth it!

During the summer, the rooms are wonderfully cool and cozily warm during the winter. The accommodation is within walking distance (5 min.) from the station (train + bus). By car, the accommodation is easily accessible, a short distance from Juliana Square, where the A7 and A28 intersect. Free parking on own property.

Go offline on the edge of the mudflats in a simple but modern wadden house. Here the nights are still really dark and you can even see the Northern Lights at some times! Noordpolderzijl is the ideal base for your mudflats or holidays on the wadden coast. Please be aware that you are staying in a nature reserve on the Wadden Sea. Dogs must stay on a leash and there is no large beach as you may be used to from the North Sea coast.
