Beachfront vacation rentals in Rote Ndao Regency

Malole is such an amazing place! I can’t think about better place to stay in Rote. The rooms have view of the beach and ocean. The place has an amazing vibe. What is absolutely outstanding and what overcame my expectations was the food at Malole. It was so delicious! Maria and all the stuff were so nice and helpful! I would definitely come back when back in Rote!

Stunning spot on the beach with thoughtful, kind hosts. Nat & Mat are really part of the local community and it was wonderful to spend time with them. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Boa Vida for two weeks and had the most amazing time! What a stunning bungalow with romantic atmosphere, beautiful gardens and breathtaking view over the ocean. The staff was very friendly and welcoming as well as accommodated every request with a smile. The breakfast is fresh, delicious and healthy. The bed and pillows are top notch and the sound of the ocean puts you to sleep right away. Boa Vida left a big impact on us and will have a special place in our hearts. Until we see you again, thank you for a lovely stay ❤️

Location is great and spectacular beach/pool view in the sunset hours. F&B are good in quality but they are lacking Indonesian/local food options. I would recommend this resort for anyone who seeks quality, western-standard stay in Rote.

The price is per person and includes 3 times meal, so no need to worry where to eat (there are very few restaurants) and pay expensive food (above idr 100k for main course). Bathroom is outdoor but clean, i didnt find any bugs or toads or any animal commonly found in an outdoor bathroom. No water heater too yet the pricey resort in the area my friends stayed doesnt have either. Almost power black out for 30mins-2hours every night. KK has solar panel but not really able to lit up the entire place. I prefer to stay at the main house/kitchen dining area where the emergency lamps are brighter. In KK, chitchating about daily life and everything with the local manager, Bu Mince, is a lovely experience. She is a great cook and willingly catering every guests' need. I feel very welcome and wanted in Kampung Kakak. By staying here, i believe, i am not only preserving Nemberala beautiful beach but also helping Bu Mince and her family to have a better life - in remote poor area of Indonesia.

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Langit Teduh. The location is amazing, incredible beach and sunsets view, and the house had everything we needed. It is close to lots of restaurants and shops, but quiet and secluded. Donna was really responsive, gave us lots of local tips and Daniel the local manager was friendly and very helpful! Can’t wait to go back!!

We had a great time at Seed Resort, thanks to one of the kindest staff I have ever met in Indonesia: friendly, proactive, willing to help, dedicated to their hosts and always with kindest. The villa on itself was great, clean, private, quiet, direct access to the beach and the shower outside is lovely. From breakfast to dinner, the restaurant is very nice, diverse, and the service is impeccable. Well executed cocktails/mocktails, which is a plus. Thank you very much for the week we have spend with you, this journey will definitely hold a special place in our heart. Until next time.

I loved the stay at Kapung Kakak! Where shall I get started? First of all the manager Mince "Mihi" and her husband Alex such as the staff were amazingly friendly people. Mince always took very well care of all guests and on top we had a lot of laughters together. Her English is pretty good and she's very interested in Western culture. The cabanas have a beautiful view on the almost privat beach and I enjoyed Yoga practice on my terrace. The equipment in the cabana is simple but there's everything you need. The food is super yummy too! It felt like a luxurious homestay. I enjoyed getting in touch with the local people and especially the kids at the beach and Mihi's daughter (Olivia) friends. They would copy our Acro Yoga practice on the beach and begging for some Yoga classes. It was heart opening experience. I miss them all. I will be back - promised! Thank you all :-)

Our stay at Boa Vida was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed warmly, and the hospitality throughout our stay was second to none. Carla was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and provided fantastic local recommendations that made our stay even more special. Boa Vida is such a gem! This has been our most fabulous and remarkable airbnb experience. Rote Island is a truly magical place and staying at this particular Villa makes it all more special. The house has a fantastic design, really pleasing to the eyes and quite smart to live in as well. All is spacious and very ventilated. The views are breathtaking. The swimming pool and the sea are always a source of delight. Sylvia is the most amazing host. Extremely attentive and communicative, solving everything needed for a wonderful experience. The staff has also been a highlight. Sonya who cleans, Okto the handyman and Rebecca the amazing cook are very pleasant to be around and also extremely attentive and skilled at what they do. We felt so well taken care of. Dave and I came to Rote to work from home and learn to surf while here. It has been the most perfect place to do that. Sylvia recommended us a great surf coach and Rote is a fabulous place to learn it. Using our mobile 4G internet has been totally successful to host our business calls and taking breaks by the pool or walks on the beach has been amazing. I really recommend this house and the whole experience.
