Parking is available at the house. 300 meters from public transport - train and bus. In Gilleleje there are several restaurants, cafes and pizzerias. Of course there are fish halls at the harbor where you can buy freshly caught fish, and the sale of fresh fish from the side of the fishing boats. Max. 20 minute by car to several amazing nordsealand golf clubs. Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. The house is furnished with a focus on coziness and relaxation. There are several large terraces, dining and sun nooks. In the garden there is plenty of space for ball games. Enjoy the holiday land in Odsherred and the beautiful nature from here. It is 1 km to child-friendly beach and shopping is 500 meters from here.
