This is one of the few places in the area with a pool.
Candles flicker off glass and stone at this reimagined Sicilian compound. Sun-tinged farmland stretches out around grounds with a saltwater pool. The 19th-century walls and watchtower were designed as fortification, with accommodations for farmers, and many rooms still have original architectural details alongside pared-down modern pieces. It’s 30 minutes outside the cathedral town of Noto.
