Located in the sought-after tree Bouldin Creek neighborhood.

The space
Designed by Austin’s top modern architect, the first floor features an open concept kitchen, living & dining room, with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open directly to the private heated pool, which can convert to a hot tub in cooler months. The gourmet chef’s kitchen includes custom walnut cabinetry with integrated refrigerator, wine fridge, top-of-the line Thermador appliances, coffee bar, and enough cooking gadgets and serving ware to host the perfect dinner party. Off the dining area, which features a 12-foot marble waterfall island (seats 6) and expandable dining table (seats up to 10), lies a quaint shaded backyard with lounge seating and fire table. A reading nook, stocked with dozens of modern board games and Austin travel books and half bath finish out the first floor.

Up the stunning hanging steel staircase lined with local art, sits the master suite, a guest bedroom with Queen bed and private bath, and a fully stocked laundry room. The oversized master suite boasts a King bed, office work area, and a master spa suite named Top 10 Bathrooms of 2021 by Houzz, featuring a two-person “under the stars” soaking tub that sits under a two-story vaulted skylight for romantic night-time baths.

The third floor features a huge third guest bedroom with Queen bed and twin bunk beds built into the gable of the modern farmhouse roofline, a fourth bathroom, and a music area with a piano keyboard. Additionally, a bright loft with double bed sits under a skylight to view stars at night and surrounded by windows giving 180-degree views over the tree-lined neighborhood. Off the loft, find a rooftop deck with incredible downtown skyline views (with unobstructed views of Austin City Fourth of July and New Year’s fireworks!)

Location

Located in the sought-after Bouldin neighborhood, you are a 5-minute Uber to all of the popular amenities in South Austin including festival grounds for all major events (ACL, SXSW). Bouldin is a gorgeous neighborhood filled with original Austin charm, world-class Modern homes, and a free-roaming flock of peacocks. The house itself is located half a block from an Austin city library and Ricky Guerrero Park, which includes a splash pad and large playground.

Additional amenities

- In cooler months, the pool can be heated for a $100 fee to pool or hot tub temperature with 24 hours minimum notice.
- Music can be played across the entire house via a Sonos system.
- Guests have access to additional tables and chairs stored in garage.
- The house can fit two vehicles in the driveway parking, and plenty of additional free street parking.

Guest access
Guests will have full access to the main home, private pool and backyard. Please note a second house sits behind the property and is not part of this rental. Please only use the main driveway to the right of the house. Guest will be given a key code to access the electronic locks on home at check in. There is a locked owner's closet off the master bathroom that is off limits to guests.

Other things to note
Please note that we abide by AirBNB rules banning parties. We kindly ask that there are no outdoor activities including pool use or music from 10:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. so our neighbors can sleep without disruption. Noise complaints and violation of no-parties rule could result in cancellation of reservation with no refund.

The house has 3 twin bed air mattresses that are available for groups who don't wish share beds. However, please note the maximum number of guests is still 10 guests.

Austin is a boomtown and the area around our home is experiencing tremendous growth, meaning there is an ever-growing number of older homes being knocked down and replaced my multi-million dollar modern homes. Because of this, some construction noise is always possible as there are new homes being built on my block.

Hot tub conversion on pool only available during coolers months (generally October to April). Please note there is not a separate pool and hot tub.
