Villa Lygia is a haven of calm, where crystalline waters meet palm-fringed beaches and sweeping coastal views. Set within 3,500 m² of lush, manicured gardens, the villa offers ample space and a private spa for complete relaxation.

The space
This villa is under “etouri vacation rental management,” which means:

- We organized the villa down to every detail and checked it annually.
- Quick booking process and support at every step of your holidays.
- A personal holiday advisor at your disposal for holiday organization (free concierge service before and during your stay).
- Assistance in booking services and excursions.
- Pre-arrival service with detailed information on the area of the villa.

The services below are also included in the price:
- Daily cleaning & maid service from 08:00 to 15:00 (except for Sundays)
- Grocery pre-stocking for your arrival (cost of groceries not included)
- Shopping delivery at the Villa once per day (cost of groceries not included)
- Snorkelling equipment and a SUP board and beach equipment provided
- Welcome pack including wine and traditional Cretan treats
- Towel and linen change every 2 days
- Daily pool and garden maintenance
- A dedicated personal concierge for all arrangements

Furthermore, the following services can be arranged with an additional fee, upon request:
-Wine fridge stocked with local wines with mini bar service (at extra charge, payable locally)
-Private water sports can be arranged to take place at the villa’s beach
- 8m rib boat available for hire at an extra charge (with skipper and only during the afternoon hours)
- Private diving lessons or private water sports can be arranged to take place at the villa’s beach (with an additional fee).

We can also arrange anything else you may require with an additional charge, such as:
- Doctor on call

- Beauty treatments
- Yoga and/or Pilates mat sessions
- Babysitting
- Daily excursions
- Car or Bicycle rent

As part of our exclusive villa collection, this villa offers premium services like daily housekeeping and a dedicated personal concierge for a seamless, effortless holiday.

First Floor
-Fully independent apartment accessed via external stairs, offering privacy within the group.
-Stone and plaster walls, beamed ceiling, and open fireplace create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
-Living room with 65" Smart TV (Netflix), PlayStation 5, and a cosy office corner with stunning views.
-Fully equipped modern kitchen for easy self-catering.
-Large balcony with shaded dining table for 10 and a hammock for relaxing afternoons.

-Private 55 m² swimming pool (1.5–2.5 m depth) with ladder access; pool heating available upon request (extra charge).

-Outdoor spa area: 4-seater hot tub, wooden sauna, additional shower, relaxing seating with sea view.
-Pergola with seating and dining table for 10, ideal for alfresco meals.
-Broil King gas barbecue with outdoor sink for home-cooked meals.
-Snorkelling equipment and 4 SUP boards (convertible to canoes), free of charge.
-Ping pong table, football, and volleyball nets; large lawned gardens for children to play.

-Villa driveway with space for 4 cars inside grounds; additional parking available outside.

**Accommodation cost excludes Climate Resilience Tax. The amount for the accommodation type is set at €15 per night from April to October and €4 per night from November to March, payable upon check-in.

The villa is located between 2 bigger bays in Petres, which is just a short drive west of Rethymno. There are 2 local tavernas and a beach bar that can be reached by foot from the villa.
Kavros village is nearby and is the closest area for all the necessary facilities such as shops, mini markets, pharmacies, tavernas, restaurants and bars. Georgioupoli waterfront village is at the end of the long stretch of beach which extends from Episkopi and offers all kinds of shops, sandy beaches and a picturesque small church, reached via a rocky sea path. Other attractive spots near the villa include Kournas Lake, the only natural freshwater lake in Crete, as well as Argiroupoli village, well-known for the small spring waterfalls and the amount of great, traditional taverns under the big trees!

Rethymno town is just a short drive away with its beautiful Turkish and Venetian architecture. With a plethora of tavernas and fine dining restaurants, boutiques, cafes, fortress, museums and art culture, Rethymno is not to be missed. As the sun sets over Rethymno town, the atmosphere changes under the twinkling night sky.
