Traditional rustic Cotswold farmhouse offering self contained accomodation (attached to family living quarters) with 2 (ensuite) double bedrooms, a small basic kitchen & sitting/dining room. You have your own driveway & entrance to the property. We are on the edge of a lovely cotswold village on our busy family farm with views stretching to the North Wessex Downs. Fantastic countryside for running, cycling & open water swim spots. Walking distance into Tetbury (1.5 miles) via foot/cycle paths.

The space
We live on a working family farm which also accommodates an equestrian centre so there is lots going on. We have a small (& extremely friendly) dog & there are several others that live on site! If you are allergic to animals we would advise that you do not book with us! We have a young family who all muck in & we often head down to The Tetbury Goods Shed Park Run after feeding on a Saturday morning. We tend to accommodate short stay walkers , tourists, family reunions & wedding guests to our home. We are not suited to long stays and a car for transport is essential! We strongly advise lighting the fire in the evenings & bringing your slippers in the colder months! There is access to the garden, outdoor seating (& BBQ for additional charge and on request!). The area has much to offer & a walk into the old market town of Tetbury is a must & has many places to eat, drink & shop.

Guest access
Parking is via a private driveway off the country lanes. There are limited taxi hire companies in the area so if required, booking early is advised. Kemble train station is a 10 minute drive away and takes you directly in and out of London.

Other things to note
We really enjoy our Air bnb hosting and try our hardest to offer a comfortable and enjoyable stay in our humble farmhouse which does not pretend to be comparable to a hotel stay & we strongly encourage guests looking for that type of experience to look elsewhere! We are constantly improving, decorating, and problem solving to optimise comfort but also to move towards a more sustainable way of living with what we have and hope our pricing reflects that. This is our home and not a hotel although we hope to keep improving the experience for our guests with each stay. For now we hope you are able to follow our waste disposal instructions. We also now have solar energy supply to the house with battery energy saving system supplying all our electricity.

Neighborhood highlights

Our farm sits on the edge of a small Cotswold village just 1.5 miles from Tetbury. There is no street lighting and if you wish to walk into the winter evenings then a head torch is advisable (or can be borrowed!). The neighbourhood is popular with horse riders, cyclists, runners and walkers. We are a very welcoming community with lots of events on all year round.
