Peace and quiet

Only a 10 minute drive from the centre of Exeter, West Green Lodge is a beautiful detached dwelling in the picturesque countryside. An idea place for a peaceful stopover, attending a wedding nearby or close to the University of Exeter and city centre. A selection of local pubs serving gourmet food and local beers are within a 10 minute drive or stroll along one of the many scenic footpaths . The Lodge is set in 0.6 acres of beautiful gardens.

The space
.Tea, coffee, and biscuits supplied. There is a microwave/convection oven/grill, as well as a toaster and kettle. Crockery and cutlery. There is also an Iron, ironing board and hairdryer in the Lodge.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to sit in the garden beside The Lodge or in the front of the house.

Other things to note
Please note that although the majority of vehicles have no trouble with the drive, occasionally low profile vehicles can struggle. If this happens there is parking on the road or in a small lay-by just a few hundred yards down the road. Note tractors go by for a few weeks during harvest time.
Also the double bed, sofa bed and (if needed) single bed are all in the same area. *There is no separate bedroom.*

Situated in a beautiful tranquil rural area close to the Cathedral City of Exeter with its many shops, restaurants and vibrant bars as well as the beautiful Quay area and Cathedral all within walking distance from the city. An array of gorgeous beaches are within a 30 minute drive as well as the stunning scenery of Dartmoor and Exmoor. As previously mentioned both the Beer Engine and the Agricultural Inn are two of the most highly recommended pubs which can be reached by car or on foot along the river and through the woods across the many public footpaths around this beautiful area. Hanlon's Brewery is situated nearby where you can take a tour of the brewery and finish off with one of their amazing 'Tower Burgers and a pint of locally brewed beer, or if you prefer Quicks Farm and shop offers the most amazing cheeses also within a few minutes drive. If you fancy a full English Breakfast, pop across to Bernaville Nurseries where they also have an abundance of beautiful plants and gifts.
