Welcome to KAAB! Our modern luxury studio is located where everything is a 5 minute walk away. 5 minutes to the Cozumel ferry, 5 to the ADO bus terminal for access to the Cancun airport, 5 from the beach or to the famous 5th avenue. The rooftop pool runs parallel with the ocean for a panoramic view. There is also a gym. Our studio sleeps three guests, full kitchen, Wi-Fi 100 mbps fiber, smart tv and laundry machine. There is 24 hour security and paid public parking only one block away.

The space
KAAB South beach is a six level condominium in centro Playa del Carmen. Our studio apartment is on the second level at the rear of the building. The stairs are located next to the elevator which is convenient if you don't want to wait for it. All the amenities are located on the roof.

Guest access
You can walk to anywhere you want to go in a matter of minutes. The beginning of 5th ave is two blocks away and is a colorful and beautiful walk back and forth. Bicycle rental shops are nearby and the 10th ave which is only one block away from the condo has a bike path that goes from PlayaCar to the other side of Playa del Carmen.

If you have a car...There are two paid parking lots nearby. One diagonally across the street from KAAB. And a second parking lot one block closer to the beach. Both charge 15 pesos per hour for medium sized vehicles and the day rates are around 200 pesos per day (10 US dollars per day). The parking lots are not open 24 hours a day. Their hours are roughly 7:00 am until 10:00 pm each day. So if you leave your car there overnight and need to leave early in the morning you should remove your vehicle the evening before.

Street parking is available in all of the downtown area. However it is metered parking and you will see rectangle white outlines for each space. The rate is 10 pesos per hour. When you feed the meter it will give you a ticket that you need to put in your windshield. The authorities are vigilant in booting cars who have not paid to park on the street. The hours for paying to park on the street is 10:00 am until 10:00 pm 7 days a week. Street parking is free from 10:00 pm until 10:00 am each day which could be convenient based on your schedule.

Other things to note
CONSTRUCTION nearby. Playa del Carmen is a booming town and has been one of the fastest growing cities in Latin America for years now. Because of this there are construction sites scattered around downtown including right next to this building. During business hours the noise is intermittent and changes day to day. Please consider this if you plan to be in the apartment for many hours during the day.
