THE COVE : A charming romantic guest 2 story cottage. A Serene start : Peace, calm, tranquility. Hit the reset button & Gain a new perspective. Created with my own hands for Loved ones & wonderful Guest. Perfect for a couple or a friends getaway. Children always welcomed. Designed W/ New England Charm W/ splash of Nautical. Quality, Classic, simplicity at its finest. Tv / Internet Provided as convenience only not integral to stay nor loss of power due to Mother Nature

The space
This reservation is for the main part of the cottage. There is another private entrance to the Anchor to the right side of The Cove cottage. Each has private entrances. There are 2 queen bedrooms on the second floor with a full Bathroom. The first floor has a queen bed for those unable to go up stairs. Along with a second bathroom. I have available a crib size mattress for the floor for toddler and a portabed for baby’s. There is children’s toys and books. I Love my Guest and try to find antiques and quality furnishings for your enjoyment. The Cove is a very sweet, fun loving space. Perfect for a couples getaway, Best friends and small family’s. It affords plenty of privacy for Joy and noise , Wonderful music , children doing what children do Laughing, playing, screaming and crying at times ; )Welcomed not to be an issue. It is summer and meant to have fun. Guest are welcome to walk around the quaint property, use the fire pit and children with parents are welcome to wander around the little garden. I have Chickens and children love watching their antics. Starting 2026 guest will be able to gather fresh eggs in the am. There are other cottages but still quite private. The Cove is 1 mile to the Public town landing and a short 2.5 miles to Hendricks beach. Air BNB has it as a 20 min walk to the beach but it is actually a 2.5 mile ride to Hendricks town beach. The attached carriage house to the right side of the Main cottage is another unit. Sincerely, Brittneymorgan

Guest access
This is a private property so there is plenty of parking space for your vehicle. Guest are to park in front of the split rail fence.

Other things to note
Please respect that Check out is no later than 11am as time is needed to ready for the next guest. The only guest permitted on the property grounds and in the cottage are the registered Overnight guest unless permission granted for day visitor. Insurance requires the Guest responsible for reservation be 21 years of age or older. ALL GUEST MUST BE ON THE RESERVATION TO BE ON THE PROPERTY. Music , games and Laughter is 100 percent ALWAYS welcomed. This is a private home that we choose to share with others so there is a 100 Percent no pet of ANY kind permitted to protect the homes well being, neighbors quality of life from nuisance barking , and allergy’s Myself and others are extremely allergic to Dogs / Cats so it is advised you choose another place to stay if you need a pet with you due to our health reasons. Cottage is for tranquility a Beautiful place to stay. Children Guest are not to have free rein to prevent damages and prevent them from getting hurt. Please note That There are stairs to access and stairs to the second floor Bedroom. There are no grab bars in the shower. Because of the pine floors & Stairs cannot accommodate walkers, motorized equipment and there is no room. It is your responsibility to navigate the property safely & responsibly. Guest are to supply their own laundry detergent. I supply the initial toiletries and guest are to supply beyond that usage. Absolutely 100 percent No smoking NO Vaping NO marijuana, no fentanyl as very dangerous if residue left behind on the grounds nor inside the cottage. Nicotine odors and stains are very disturbing to many guest and slowly ruin a property. ( I will add that I Have had Gentleman enjoy a Gentleman’s cigar out by the fire pit but no cigarettes and that has not been an issue as they did not on the porches nor in the house. ) I want my guest to enjoy what ever reason brought them to the area just with care of the home) My first care is my guest relaxing and enjoying them selves. ( Terms of service you can not sue The Homeowner for slips and falls homeowner can not personally insure that you navigate properly. You are responsible for you. The home has been properly maintained. By accepting the reservation you accept the terms mentioned throughout. Responsible drinking to avoid hazards to ones self or others and the property. No underage drinking. Our guest privacy and Enjoyment is of utmost importance. We have had all Amazing , wonderful guest many have become great friends and we hope to continue that so that others may enjoy a wonderful experience At The Cove. Neighborhood highlights

Southport is a wonderful sweet little island. It starts when you cross the Southport Bridge which is just angelic. Southport general store is close by and great for essentials, pizza, subs, desserts. Also check out The Barn next to the store for quality T shirts, gifts, Jewelry ect. Hendricks Beach just 2.5 miles from the cottage, the town landing 1 mile from the cottage is a beautiful spot to see cuckholds lighthouse & put your Kayak in. Robinsons wharf restaurant 2.5 miles from cottage. Boothbay Harbor and all its great shops / Restaurants only 5 miles. My favorite restaurants are The Thistle Inn BH , Harbor side golf resort ( coastal Prime) across Boothbay Harbor. Also Cozies Restaurant on Cozy Harbor ,Southport. Many people walk / run/ ride bikes around the loop of Cape Newagen but the best place is scenic Drive along the ocean East Boothbay. Great places to dance and listen to music is The Lobster wharf Fri - Sun / The Tub Boat Inn Pub after 7 Thurs - Sat . You will indeed find me out Dancing The Night away . I often go to The Lobster wharf 6 -9 pm then quickly get to the Tug Boat and dance til 10. I get anyone who will up to dance. Life is meant to Enjoy !!!
