It’s an easy place to settle into… beach days, nearby spots, and everything within walking distance. You could be barefoot the whole time.

Downtown San Diego and major attractions are just a short drive away when you want to change it up.

The space
Bayside Breeze is a bright, comfortable two-story home set on one of the quiet walking streets of Mission Beach, just steps from both the ocean and the bay.

The home is designed to make beach living easy, with indoor-outdoor spaces to enjoy your morning coffee, grill dinner, or wind down in the evening with the ocean air coming through.

The layout works well for couples, families, or small groups. One bedroom suite is located on the ground floor with its own bathroom and patio. Upstairs you’ll find the main living area, kitchen, balcony, and a second bedroom suite with its own bathroom. The living room sofa also converts to a queen bed if needed.

You’ll have two gated, covered parking spots, which makes a big difference in Mission Beach where parking can be limited.

A quick note on the area

Mission Beach is lively and active, especially during peak times. You may hear some ambient noise from the neighborhood, which is part of what makes the area feel vibrant. We do provide earplugs just in case.

Bayside Breeze is also our personal vacation home, not a large managed property. We spend time here ourselves and take pride in keeping it comfortable, clean, and well cared for.

Guest access
Bayside Breeze offers 2 covered, fully private and gated parking spots. Rare and very helpful as although street parking is ample, it can be hard to come by a spot in peak seasons.

There is also ample private outdoor space with a partially covered patio downstairs and a large deck upstairs.

Other things to note
We use a smart lock for entry, so there are no keys to keep track of. You’ll receive a unique code for your stay, making check-in and coming and going simple. Less to lose at the beach!

The garage fits two standard-sized vehicles. Larger cars can be a tighter fit, but we’ve accommodated vehicles like a Honda Pilot, a Range Rover, and a short-bed Silverado. There’s also nearby street parking if needed.

Like many homes in the area, there is no air conditioning. Ceiling fans and ocean breezes keep the space comfortable most of the year, and the airflow from the bay and ocean typically does the job well. If AC is a must-have for you, this may not be the best fit.
