The space
Set in its own 9 acres of pristine tropical jungle and overlooking the Pacific Ocean... this is truly paradise! The unique design of Casa Brisas del Cabo makes this a very special place for guests. Access is via a private road with an electronic security gate ensuring both privacy and seclusion to guests.

Winner of 2019 Central and South America property awards for ‘Best Architecture’ this stunning villa enjoys vaulted ceilings and an overall captivating design. The villa takes full advantage of both indoor and outdoor tropical living and spectacular breathtaking panoramic views. We are blessed with sea breezes which flow through the house as per our design.

Each bedroom has air conditioning and ceiling fan. En-suite bathrooms are very generously proportioned, each enjoying double wash hand basins and large walk in showers

A key design consideration was to make this a space, whether inside or out, one where families and friends can socialize easily and comfortably. Table tennis has become a popular pastime at Brisas del Cabo, bringing different generations together. If you need a little quiet time then each of the three bedrooms has its own separate seating area. Perfect for taking time out to reflect, read a book, or simply relax and enjoy the view. Alternatively, we also have a thatched rancho built above the jungle canopy, ideal for relaxing and watching the jungle beneath you or the ocean ahead. A perfect spot for the first coffee of the day or a cocktail to watch the magnificent sunsets.

The villa boasts a gorgeous tropical garden with lawns on which to relax. You are encouraged to walk around the gardens of the property which is a haven for wildlife. Being situated next to the Cabo Blanco Natural Reserve means we have many wildlife visitors to the grounds. We regularly are visited by Howler and Capuchin monkeys, Pizotes, Anteaters, Armadillos as well as a wide variety of birds. Don’t forget to look out to the ocean for whale spotting. We are on the route for migrating humpback whales! These magnificent creatures often choose the area directly in front of the property to rest for a day or so before continuing their journey. So do please make use of the binoculars we provide.

World class surfing beaches are nearby in Playa Carmen, Santa Teresa and Playa Hermosa. This area is home to the most magnificent beaches on the Pacific Coast. All 3 are on our doorstep. Activities in the area also include horse riding, zip lining, off-shore fishing, Stand-up Paddle Boarding, yoga, pilates and ATV adventure tours.

Private massages and yoga sessions can be arranged at the house on the many patios, in the rancho or in your room.

Many of our guests have demanding lives so we are here to offer you, your friends or family help and advice whether it’s travel plans, booking activities, restaurant reservations or car/ATV rentals. This concierge service will help guide you to get the best from your time with us without the stress or worry.

Guest access
Guests have complete access to Casa Brisas and the the surrounding grounds. Our private road is perfect for those wanting a workout. An ATV or 4x4 vehicle is essential.

Other things to note
There are two smaller casita's within the grounds. Casita Silencio sleeps 2 and Casita Tranquilo, approximately 200 meters away, sleeps 2 adults and 2 children. These are available for rent should you have a larger group. A discounted rate is available for booking either one or both of these properties with the main house.

These casitas may be occupied during your stay but will not interfere with your enjoyment or privacy.

The Mal Pais /Santa Teresa area on the Nicoya peninsula was not discovered by the surfing and tourist crowd up until 15 years ago. It is an understated gem of an area with fabulous stretches of white sandy beaches, warm ocean tides and dense tropical jungle. You will not see a single high rise!! There is a lively stretch of continuous town that runs adjacent to the beaches scattered with rustic restaurants serving world class food, organic and fresh is the order of the day. We are lucky to be situated in one of the BLUE ZONES of the world. Brisas Del Cabo is a retreat away from the world yet still connected with the mod cons of wifi should you need it. This lodge is gorgeous home in which to relax, unwind, breathe, sleep and take a slower look at the world.
