We are a young married couple born and raised in the south. We enjoy good music, Alabama football (and just about any other sport there is), family time, and discovering new things

The space
We have a small home right off a main highway (Lurleen Wallace BLVD). It’s a two bedroom, one bath, with a front porch, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, back porch, and fenced in backyard with a privacy fence.
There is free parking in the driveway, and an awning to park underneath if you wish.
We are:
•3 miles from Bryant-Denny Stadium
•3.3 miles from The University of Alabama
•1.9 miles from Downtown Tuscaloosa
and
•1.9 miles from the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater

There is a small local produce shop three houses down from us the sells local plants, meats, fruits, and vegetables.
We’re across the street from a Piggly Wiggly and a Dollar General, and just down the road from a Publix Supermarket. There’s a bank right next to our home with a ATM guests can use, unfortunately it charges $3.00.

Guest access
Our guests will have access to everywhere in the house (except the main bedroom) and both front and back yards.

Other things to note
There are five things to note:
1. We do have pets and ARE pet friendly. Both our cats and dog get along with other animals really well, and we have the privacy fenced backyard to allow your furry friends plenty of space to be safe and run around in.
2. We do have a washer and dryer in the house. However, the dryer doesn’t dry loads very well so we usually have to run it twice on large loads to dry them completely.
3. We don’t have a dishwasher so we wash our dishes by hand. We would like to serve our guests by washing their dishes for them, so please just place any dirty dishes in the kitchen sink
4. All guest are welcome to any food in our home. We don’t keep a ton, but we usually keep some basics on hand (loaf bread, chips, salsa or dip, raman noodles, canned vegetables, cereal, almond milk, eggs, seasonings, etc.), as well as a few things to bake with.
5. We don’t really have cable. We have a Roku TV, so we get Netflix, Youtube, Fox Sports Go app, and many other channels but not all. Chances are if there’s a major sporting event going on, we find a way to get it on the TV. We have an outlet to play DVD’s, and we also have a small jukebox that guests can play music through if they wish.

We really want guests to feel comfortable and at home here and not to worry about any sort of intrusion. What’s ours is yours.

We are a newly married couple, into sports, music, waffle house, and Jesus. We’re very easygoing and low maintenance, no-fuss type people.
During your stay
We generally hang out in the living room watching sports in the evenings. Most week night responsibilities keep us busy until 8 or 9pm. We are easy to get along with and are happy to engage or ignore our guests as much as they wish.
