The Airplane House sits up high on a hill right off the interstate with a beautiful view of the mountains surrounding downtown Asheville which is only 5-8 minutes away. This unique guest experience will have you wrapped up in the excitement and relaxation of Asheville as soon as you arrive. The guest suite we call "The Studio" consists of a private 600 square foot NYC style "apartment" with its own entrance that is great for couples or families of 3.

The space
"The Studio" is on the lowest level of the Airplane House and has its own entrance that is at the end of a long, down-hill path that is surrounded by forest. The interstate is on the east side of the house so access to Asheville is quick and easy. There is one off-street parking spot and ample street parking. It is recommended that your luggage is on wheels so you can roll it down the hill to your private entrance. "The Studio" has a kitchen area with a large refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, electric tea kettle, toaster, oatmeal and bagels, tea and coffee. The living room area has a TV, DVD player, couch, and a single trundle day-bed. There is a full bathroom with a huge walk-in shower and single sink. There is a full queen size bed "sleeping area", closet and desk.

Guest access
Guests will have access to
-coffee, tea and hot chocolate
-a TV in the living room;
-full refrigerator and microwave;
-wifi;

Other things to note
There are 2 very friendly little dogs (Chloe and Kodabear) that live upstairs that sometimes are outside napping and playing. It is crucial that the main gate to the premises stays closed and latched. The dogs may bark at you to greet you, because they LOVE to say hello, so please feel free to give them a pat on the back!

Also, unfortunately if you or your partner/friend are smokers, please DO NOT book here. I am allergic to cigarette smoke, AND even when you don't smoke in the house (which is not allowed), the smell lingers for days.

Please park in the driveway if there is a spot. If not please park on the left side of the road facing down the road.

To enter the property, go through the left side of the driveway gate and latch it behind you. Walk down the driveway all the way down and your door is the gray door at the end. Enjoy!
