Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.

Park for free

This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
Tranquil cottage with beautiful dam views in the picturesque Natal Midlands. A walk among the beautiful Nguni heard, or a sundowner next to the dam..the perfect way to unwind from busy city life.

The cottage is completely load shedding friendly, with a gas stove and gas geyser and inverter that runs the lights and TV. The veranda has folding doors that open completely for a 180 degree view of the farm and dam.

This is an ideal family unit, or a cozy couples break away.

Guest access
During the week, staff will be on the property between 8 and 4 o clock daily. On weekends and after hours, easy self check-in is available, the access codes will be sent to guests on check in day. A single car-port is available close to the unit for parking. The road to the farm can become slightly slippery in summer, but has been easily navigated even by small cars before.

Other things to note
The farm makes use of borehole water and may sometimes have a slight sulfurous smell. It is perfectly safe for use and potable. Please bring your own filtered water should you prefer no to drink the borehole water.

Monkeys are a part of our wildlife on the farm, and we advise that windows and doors are kept closed while you are out for a walk or meandering - specially if food is left in the house. Please do not feed the monkeys.

Bats, snakes, insects and other small mammals can occasionally be found on the farm. Most guests realize that these animals are an integral part of the ecosystem, and accept them as such.

Please note we have a very friendly dog, named Zoe, on the farm. She loves welcoming guests and popping in to say hi every now and then.

Cell phone reception on the farm is not always perfect as can be expected in the Midlands...

Each unit is fitted with a gas geyser and a gas stove. An inverter will run the lights and we provide an extension to run the TV, should there be a power outage.

While we will make every effort to give guests advance warning of power interruptions, it is inevitable that there might be an unannounced power failure during your stay.

Units are not serviced during short stays. (5 days or less.)

No WiFi.
