A traditional Cornish cottage located between Penzance and St Ives, in the quaint village of Ludgvan. Close to beaches on both the north and south coast and great access to the whole West Penwith/Land's End peninsular.

Cosy interior with 2 log burning stoves -- one in the sitting room, and another in the large kitchen/dining area. Enclosed garden and hot outdoor shower.

Great footpaths, including St Michael's Way on its doorstep. A pub and small shop within walking distance.

The space
The cottage has a large dining area, with a long table that fits 8 comfortably and a log-burning stove.

The kitchen is well equipped - there is an electric oven, two gas hobs, as well as a Rayburn. Adjoining is a small utility room with fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and other appliances such as nutribullet and airfryer.

Living room is very cosy, with another log burning stove and a smart TV.

There is a downstairs loo in the utility room and a warm outdoor shower just outside the backdoor.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms (two doubles and one twin) and a big family bathroom, with a bath and shower.

There is good WiFi available throughout the house and garden.

The pretty enclosed garden has a gorgeous view into a rural field behind, and gets good sun all day. Garden furniture available to use, as is a gas barbecue and a brazier/fire pit.

Tucked away down a peaceful country lane, the cottage offers a real sense of escape while still being just a few minutes from the A30 — ideally positioned between Penzance and St Ives.

For a local bite or a pint, you can stroll to The White Hart in Ludgvan via the scenic St Michael’s Way footpath (about half a mile). This welcoming village pub serves up craft beers, good food, and has a lovely garden perfect for sunny afternoons.

Walkers are in for a treat here — you’re right near the final stretch of the north-to-south St Michael’s Way, which leads to the iconic St Michael’s Mount. Head in the other direction and you can follow the path all the way to St Ives (around 8km). For the more adventurous, continue through Penzance and explore a stretch of the stunning South West Coast Path as it winds its way around the Land’s End peninsula.

The cottage is perfectly placed to explore some of Cornwall’s best-loved destinations. Within easy reach are:

Porthcurno – home to the incredible Minack Theatre and a beautiful beach

St Ives – famous for the Tate Gallery, independent shops, and excellent restaurants

Porthleven – a foodie hotspot with a great selection of restaurants

Newlyn and Mousehole – charming traditional fishing villages

Marazion – gateway to the magical St Michael’s Mount

Beach lovers will be spoiled for choice, with stunning stretches of sand nearby including Gwithian, Sennen, Praa Sands and many more!
