The Orangery immerses you in its unique Strawberry Hill Gothic style, with octagonal towers, crenellations, ornate windows and carefully curated details. Once the centre piece of the gardens of Frampton Court where exotic plants were grown, it is today a showstopping display of light flooded rooms with everything you need for a special getaway. Explore the history of the local area and enjoy the plentiful waterside walks before dining alongside views of the garden and conversing beside the fire.

The space
The Orangery takes your breath away, stopping you in your tracks as you walk in from the village green. Resting at the end of a Dutch canal the house is resplendent with ornate windows and finials. Take a moment to soak it all in, this house is yours for a while.

Staying here is unlike any other getaway where you start your day strolling canalside, visiting the local pubs and watching a cricket match. After your Cotswolds day out, make the most of the house and serve a homecooked meal. With a small dining area seating four, the kitchen has an oven and hob and there is a pantry with extra storage space and a wine fridge to keep your fizz fresh. The dining and sitting rooms are set within octagonal towers lending them a unique character which is mirrored in the shape of the dining table. Serve dinners here beside exceptional garden views through the high windows before retiring for drinks beside the fire in the sitting room. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor, ideal for parents and their children the adjoining rooms open to the garden and have the benefit of an en-suite. Up the central spiral stairs are the main bedrooms with far-reaching garden vistas and comfortable beds that will be hard to tear yourselves away from in the mornings.

Stepping outside, the gardens at The Orangery are sublime. Stroll alongside the Dutch canal spotting birdlife as you sip you morning coffee, enjoying this quiet moment. A dining table is at the end of the waterway for summer meals and drinks together. Stay here into the evening lighting the firepit which doubles as a BBQ. This picturesque backdrop with The Orangery behind is picture-perfect and you will start traditions, staying here year after year to celebrate milestones.

Ground Floor

Sitting Room
The sitting room showcases the unique beauty of The Orangery. Extravagant windows display beautiful garden views across the ornamental Dutch canal. With a high ceiling and floral artwork as a nod to the history of this building, it's a spectacular space to spend time together. Stonework flooring, gentle colour washed walls and hues of peach make the main feature of this room its octagonal shape. Light the open fire in its elaborate surround, turn on the TV and relax at the end of the day, with plenty of seating for your whole group.

Dining Room
Mirroring the living room, the dining room is set within the second front octagonal tower. Perfectly fitting the space, the eight-sided dining table is made for decadent meals and thoughtful table dressings. Bring meals through to be enjoyed before the ever-changing garden views through the stunning windows. A decorative fireplace, take time to notice the tile work, and detailed décor make this a special room for celebrations.

Kitchen/Breakfast Area
Each detail has been carefully considered in the kitchen which also has space for four to dine, perfect for younger guests or late risers. With an oven and hob, Belfast sink and eye-catching dresser housing crockery and glassware the pretty kitchen has a modern twist on a traditional cottage design. You will a find the fridge, freezer and separate wine fridge just off the kitchen in a pantry with additional storage space.

Bathroom
The botanical bathroom brings the outdoors in with delicate touches of foliage. Sink into the rolltop bath in this tranquil bathroom or have a spa-like experience in the rainfall shower.

Bedroom Three
Bedroom three sits at the end of the house, accessed through bedroom four. With its own private garden access this little hideaway has a touch of boutique style. A king-size bed sits between bedside tables, and a chest of drawers and hooks gives you space to unpack.

En-Suite
Bold red and white tiling in the en-suite adds a splash of personality. With a shower, WC and basin guests staying in bedroom three have their own privacy.

Bedroom Four
This twin bedroom is full of personality with dried flowers and wooden furniture with woven detailing. Looking out over the side garden you can recline on the chaise longue with your morning coffee. Perfect for children whose parents can stay in the adjoining bedroom, there is plenty of storage and a dressing table.

First Floor

Bedroom One
This wonderful bedroom is set in the octagonal tower where you can start the day looking across the magical water feature. An elegant king-size bed beckons, and charming details are added in the archways. Hidden around the corner is a hanging rail and shelving. If you need to catch up on any work, the dressing table beside the window is the best spot in the house.

En-Suite
In the en-suite is a rainfall shower, WC and basin with gentle terracotta tiling.

Bedroom Two
The second octagonal bedroom has a super king-size bed, sofa, and a dressing table looking across the ornamental canal and garden. Decorated to relax and whisk you away to a peaceful sleep this is a charming bedroom.

Outside

The romance of The Orangery continues in the gardens. A Dutch canal mirrors the beauty of the property, stretching before you it has inspired many artists over the years. Walk along its banks and serve meals at the waterside dining table with The Orangery behind. This picturesque getaway has so much to offer and the quiet village location with local pubs, nearby family days out at Berkeley Castle and Slimbridge will fill your days.

Frampton-on-Severn is a haven for walkers with the River Severn, Gloucester and Sharpness Canal and quiet countryside waiting to be explored. Walking from Frampton-on-Severn you can follow the canal towards Slimbridge Wetlands and on to Purton. Here you can view the ship graveyard where vessels were beached to strengthen the canal bank. Following the Severn Way, a long-distance riverside walk, you can loop around nearby Arlingham and spot a variety of birdlife.
