La Foleia is a corner of paradise within walking distance of Lake Maggiore, with a botanical garden and a private lake. The neoclassical villas, Octagonal and Pavilion, offer exclusive services, including a private chef on request and a boat to explore the lake.

The space
La Foleia, which accommodates 4 guests per Villa, is a folly first imagined then realized with art, courage and determination.
Invented from an oak forest, with the help of a dowser, it has become a 4000 sqm water circle fed by its natural spring in Ticino.
Above the pond are two natural rock pools where you can swim with a view. Heated in winter. In spring, the frogs come to mate in the waters of the lake and the sound of their voices inhabits the enchanted nights. As the days progress, the water lilies bloom with their pink flowers and the mirror of water becomes surprising, with the "boccaloni" fish jumping on the water to hunt, the dragonflies that fill the air and the mallards that form families, with the ducklings swimming among the plants. In the evening, sometimes, you can see the herons that land on the lake to fish and rest. Outside, less than 5 minutes away, the social life of Lake Maggiore is bustling.
