Escape to the heart of the African bush and experience the thrill of wildlife encounters from your private viewing deck. Within the Greater Kruger the Mjejane Private Game Reserve is situated right on the banks of the Crocodile River. This exquisitely designed private safari villa offers unparalleled elegance, oodles of space and sumptuous comfort in a wilderness setting. Two game drives with professional game rangers are included per day.

The space
Mjejane Private Game Reserve, opening into the Greater Kruger National Park, is renowned for its diverse wildlife including the Big Five and many other fascinating species. Head out twice per day on a guided game drive (included in your rate) and explore the reserve's breath-taking landscapes, with the chance of encountering elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo in their natural habitat.
Six luxury en-suite bedrooms, all with kings size beds, and one en-suite bedroom with bunk beds accommodate up to 13 guests. It can also be a combination of these. Three of the king size rooms have a view over the river while the other three face the interior garden and feature outside showers. All bathrooms offer a freestanding bath, double vanity and large shower. There is an enclosed garden area with well-lit path ways linking all rooms with the main entertainment area.
Communal dining and social gathering areas are in abundance, with three outside lounge areas (one on the viewing deck, on top of the villa structure), two TV lounge areas, two outside dining areas (one on the viewing deck), an indoor dining area, a games room with table tennis and billiards, two boma areas (one with a river view and one in the courtyard), and an expansive viewing deck with sun loungers.
Mjejane Kruger Villa's interior reflects the warmth of an African sunset, with natural materials like wood, stone and rattan creating an inviting ambiance. Vibrant African fabrics and artwork add a touch of local culture and colour to the décor. The overall colour palette is neutral, with earth tones and shades of green complementing the natural surroundings. High-quality finishes and furnishings contribute to the lodge's overall sense of refined elegance and sophistication.
Relax by the swimming pool, spot game from the viewing deck overlooking the river or explore the reserve on a game drive (the villa offers two, three-hour game drives, twice daily in their own private game viewing vehicle at an additional cost). The dedicated staff is on hand to ensure every need is met.

Guest access
Prior to arrival guests will receive a link to generate a QR code to be used on arrival at the main entrance gate. Entrance gates to the reserve open at 5:00 am and close at 10:00 pm.

Private vehicles are allowed on the main road to residences only. No game drives permitted on the reserve with private vehicles.

Other things to note
The lodge is situated in the Mjejane Private Game Reserve and is part of the Greater Kruger. All visitors will have to adhere to the rules and regulations of the lodge and the Mjejane Private Game Reserve.
Self-drive game viewing on the reserve is not permitted but the lodge offers two game drives per day on the reserve.
