Kumu Beach is a stylish, oceanfront boutique hotel located in Balapitiya, along Sri Lanka’s stunning southwest coast. With just ten thoughtfully designed rooms arranged around a central pool and open garden, this contemporary retreat offers laid-back luxury, privacy, and direct beach access, perfect for a peaceful getaway.

Oceanview Bedrooms & Suites: Most rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows, offering expansive views of the sea, pool, or tropical gardens. These rooms come with private balconies or terraces, king-size beds, spacious ensuite bathrooms, and a calming minimalist aesthetic.

Twin Rooms: We have 2 twin rooms designed with simplicity and comfort in mind. These rooms do not offer specific views and don’t have floor-to-ceiling windows. They open onto a shared verandah, which also serves as a guest walkway. From here, you can see the lounge area and a glimpse of the garden. Ideal for friends or families seeking functionality with access to all shared spaces.
