Other things to note
We use TRUVI as part of our guest screening process. Your TRUVI application must match the primary guest name on the reservation. Per city and state laws, your background check must be completed within 48 hours of receiving your booking confirmation. Your reservation is NOT confirmed until these requirements are fulfilled. Once confirmed and before check-in, guests must also sign a Rental Agreement agreeing and acknowledging to:
- abide by our rental terms and conditions.
- provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-in.
- that we collect a non-refundable damage waiver of $35, paid via TRUVI
- the waiver will cover you for any accidental damage during your stay
HOUSE RULES:
Age Requirement: Travelers must be at least 25 years of age or older to book.
Pet Policy:
No pets are allowed to maintain the property's cleanliness and safety.
Unauthorized pets will incur a $750 fee for deep cleaning.
If pets are approved in advance by the owner:
Pets are not permitted on furniture.
Guests must immediately clean up any pet bathroom accidents.
Reservation Responsibility: The primary guest who made the reservation must stay at the property.
Local Guests: Guests residing within a 4-hour drive must contact us before booking.
Smoking Policy:
No smoking, vaping, or use of tobacco products is allowed inside the home.
Violations will result in a $500-$1,500 fine if damage or odors are detected.
Illegal Activities:
Recreational drug use or any illegal or dangerous activity at the property is strictly prohibited.
Any illegal activity on the premises will result in immediate eviction without a refund.
Occupancy Limits:
The property accommodates a maximum of 10 guests as listed in your booking details.
Approval is required for additional guests to avoid fees.
No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed.
Adhere to check-in and check-out times to avoid fines.
Excessive cleaning required post-stay will result in a $500-$2,500 fee depending on the property's condition.
Damages:
Guests are responsible for any damages or extra cleaning costs incurred during their stay.
Significant damage will be charged to the guest’s security deposit, with a minimum fine of $500.
Charges are processed after prior written notice via email.
House Rules Compliance:
The property undergoes regular inspections to ensure compliance with rules and maintenance standards.
Failure to comply with rules may result in eviction without a refund.
Mail and Packages: Guests are advised not to have mail or packages sent to the property.
Personal Property: Guests are responsible for their valuables and personal belongings.
Maintenance Issues:
Promptly report any maintenance issues.
Refunds are not guaranteed for reported issues.
Usage Restrictions: The property is for vacation rental only; no commercial use is allowed.
Check-Out: Guests must vacate the property at the agreed-upon time.
Local Laws: Guests must adhere to all local vacation rental laws and regulations.
Furniture and Cleanliness:
Do not eat on furniture to prevent stains on couches, rugs, etc.
Rearranging or moving furniture is not permitted.
If spills occur on carpets, couches, bed frames, countertops, dining table, etc., do not attempt to clean with water or home products. Notify the property manager for proper cleaning.
Septic System: Only flush toilet paper in toilets; no wipes or other products.
Indoor Footwear:
Shoes are not preferred indoors.
Socks, bare feet, booties, or indoor-only slippers are recommended.
No Parties or Events:
Unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Safety Equipment: Do not tamper with security cameras, smoke detectors, or other safety equipment.
