The Host The Architect The Perfectionist “Chetan” has lots to offer. The property is exceptionally designed by the host himself. The rooms are class apart. It seems they have been specially curated for you only. The washrooms have luxury bath fittings. The restaurant is coming up very nicely. It gives you feel of tranquility alongwith Royalty. The staff is courteous helpful and jovial Chetan’s Better Half “Rose” will be there to greet you and you can see her plucking fresh vegetables from their garden to make fresh salads and vegetables for you. Its proximity to The Mayfair and Queens pod make it even more worth staying. If you're someone who loves solitude but yet homely and loved, you'll love Michelle’s place. Located in a lovely and quiet surrounding, it was such a great retreat for us (we are from Delhi). People are extremely sweet and courteous especially the caretaker Ranjeet and the housekeeper. Would love to book the space again when traveling to Gangtok. Would also love to recommend the space to all near and dear ones, for sure.

This property is perfectly placed in Gangtok, it is close to MG Marg yet away from the chaos of the main market. The property have very spacious room and a beauty terrace to enjoy calm view of the mountains. Overall very cosy and comfortable stay! PS. the rooms are at the 4th floor and the care taker happily helped with our luggage but be ready to climb.

I am short of words to describe about my experience. Whatever I say it will be less to appreciate Yukta's homestay. From the very beginning I was always guided by Yukta so that I reach there. From main road Yukta took me to the homestay. There I was mesmerized by seeing the beauty of it's surrounding. Daily one can see plenty of beautiful birds who come to visit the garden. Two cute dogs and one cat made my vacation more significant. With help of Yukta I went to Deolo and could do paragliding for 1st time in my life. The food prepared by aunty (Yukta's mommy) was really delicious. Also Yukta's little brother Yuvraj is a great person to interact with. His knowledge about the birds and other surroundings is really great. In one word Adhya Homestay is a Heaven. Will always go there whenever I visit Kalimpong.

Staying at Nakeema Farmstead with Pranita Ji and Deepak Ji completely redefined homestays for me. Their warmth, mindfulness, and attention to detail made it one of the most peaceful and fulfilling vacations I’ve ever had. My top 3 Airbnb must-haves—cleanliness, good food, and beautiful surroundings—were all delivered and how! The space was spotless (read: Monica-clean), the food was farm-fresh and delicious (cooked by the hosts themselves!), and the setting was pure bliss. What truly stood out was how much care went into every little detail. On days we were out exploring, they thoughtfully prepped a heavy breakfast to keep us going—small gestures that made a big impact. And of course, a special mention to Pranita Ji’s furbabies—friendly, well-behaved, and absolute sweethearts. They added so much joy to our stay. Airbnb rightly calls this place a rare find. I couldn’t agree more. Heart full, belly full—10/10 would go back!

Had a lovely stay at Manalsu in Gangtok! The highlight was definitely the hospitality .. Chef Roshan prepared delicious, homely meals with a touch of local Sikkimese flavor that made us feel right at home. Abhimanyu was an exceptional host, checking in on us daily and suggesting great local spots to explore. The overall vibe of the place is warm and welcoming – a great base to enjoy Gangtok. Do keep in mind that occasional power cuts can happen, but that’s a general issue in Sikkim, not just here. All in all, highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great food, and genuine hospitality!

Holumba Haven is a wonderful play to stay and relax. The hosts are so friendly, and I enjoyed my conversations with them. The surroundings are so peaceful and beautiful. I’ve already booked my next stay with Holumba Haven!

The stay was exactly like I'd longed for. Comfortable and safe for solo women travellers. I shared the space with the kindest host who respected my privacy at all times. She was very helpful with everything and recommended some nice places to visit nearby. The staffs were quite responsive and friendly as well. The view from the room was breathtaking and the weather was just right. Surrounded by warm people and sumptuous home cooked meals, it felt right at home. I recommend this place for all women travelling by themselves.
