Cabin vacation rentals in Romsdalsfjorden

We stayed here for our honeymoon and WOW what an amazing place. The views from the cabin are insane, we were snowed in for a few days but the cabin was the perfect place for a few slow days! Ellen-Kristine and Bjørn we're really helpful and quick to respond when we had any questions. They even got a friendly neighbour to check we were ok when the unexpected snow arrived! For outdoor activities the location is perfect, Stranda itself is very quiet, it's a fairly long drive (40mins) for any nice restaurants, but that was fine with us!

We had such a wonderful time at this cabin! It was perfect for our small group of friends. We really enjoyed the breathtaking view while preparing meals in the kitchen, grilling in the gazebo, and relaxing in the hot tub. Hanne and Ole were very hospitable and the communication was excellent before during and after our stay. We hope to all visit again soon!

Wat een heerlijk verblijf hebben wij hier gehad. kon een dagje vroeger komen dan voorzien door het gewoon te vragen. hier komt men echt tot rust. Pia reageert ook echt altijd wel snel en duidelijk. het is hier al besloten wij komen terug 🥰

An absolutely amazing place to stay - the easiest 5-star review I’ve ever given! Breathtaking views from this beautiful and secluded cabin. The hot tub and fire pit are wonderful and the entire property is gorgeous, just like you can see in the photos. Two things to be aware of: 1) It’s a 3-4 min hike down to the cabin from the road where you park, but the hosts provided clear instructions for where to park and were super helpful in bringing our luggage down and back up during check-in and check-out. 2) There is another cabin right next to this one which the hosts also rent out. During the weekend that my wife and I were here, there was nobody staying in the other cabin so the area was a private oasis for us. Worth keeping in mind though that you’ll be sharing the space with others a bit though if anyone is staying in the other cabin. It’s a beautiful place and absolutely lives up to the photos in the listing. The hosts are helpful, friendly, and speak good English. 5/5!

Een zalig verblijf met een fantastisch uitzicht. Een plaats waar je echt tot rust komt. Wij hebben het bootje gehuurd om rond te varen in het fjord en het was werkelijk geweldig! Zeker een aanrader!

Wir hatten während unseres Norwegen-Trips einen längeren Aufenthalt von 7 Nächten bei Bottolf und Siw – und es war einfach großartig! Die Unterkunft diente uns hauptsächlich zur Entspannung, wofür der Jacuzzi absolut perfekt war. Das Haus war sehr gut ausgestattet, sauber und gemütlich – man fühlte sich sofort wohl. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die herzliche Gastfreundschaft: Bottolf gab uns regelmäßig tolle Ausflugstipps und hat sich immer wieder erkundigt, ob es uns gut geht und ob wir noch etwas brauchen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Min mand og jeg har haft den skønneste tur på den helt fantastiske hytte <3, vi endte også med at forlenge vores ophold fordi der var så skønt, så 6 amazinge dage, vi kommer helt sikkert tilbake :) Alt var perfekt. Wow for et sted!! Vi gleder os til neste besøk der:-) takk for det hele.

Staying here was incredible. It started with the drive up which included an incredible view out over the fjord. The views from the patio/hot tub were beautiful and peaceful. It was secluded and removed from neighbors as well- only sounds were birds and nature. I was surprised by the cabin itself- beautiful inside, well maintained, great furniture, and great views from the living room to enjoy while chilling on the sofa :)

Maja & Bjørnars cabin in the mountains is amazing! From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the lake & the mountains and inside it is very cozy. The communication with the hosts was good and they had great recommendations for the area! The cabin has everything you need during your stay and we would recommend it to everyone.

Amazing stay at Heidi’s place in Lodalen. We absolutely loved the location: the view is breathtaking, and it’s just a short drive away to the Kjenndal Glacier, Loen Skylift and other local attractions. You can also do a short walk to reach the lake. The house is perfect for a family (there were four of us total, 2 adults and 2 kids). There is plenty of room to hang out in the living area, and the kitchen is well equipped - the only thing that was missing was a freezer. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and I would certainly recommend this place to anyone wanting to spend time in the Loen valley.

Heel erg fijn huisje met (lage) afspanning rond de tuin. De honden hebben zich hier erg kunnen amuseren. Verder was het huisje brandschoon bij aankomst en goed uitgerust qua luxe. Jammer dat we maar 2 dagen geboekt hadden, maar we moeten weer voort.

Le logement de jorgen est très bien autant d'un point de vue emplacement que équipements. Il est situé dans une très belle vallée avec une rivière magnifique . Jorgen nous a laissé l'accès à un petit lac permettant la pêche. La proximité Hellesylt permet un bon ravitaillement et donne accès au ferry permettant d'aller visiter le Geiranger fjord . Nous recommandons grandement la chalet de Jorgen.

Ein grossartiges Airbnb, welches sehr geschmacksvoll eingerichtet ist. Zudem gibt es viele Möglichkeiten etwas in der Natur zu unternehmen! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We had our best Christmas holidays ever at Thor's ! He is such an amazing and welcoming hosts. The fact that this is his house is truly amazing and makes it even more welcoming. The boat house is fully equipped and we had amazing activities on the ocean, even in December. Thor really went the extra mile to make our stay unforgettable. Thank you so much

I had a great stay at this beautiful cabin! The views were out of this world, magical! Many hiking trails starting right outside the door. The cabin itself is so cute and comes with a gas stove, a fireplace, a radio, lights on batteries. There's a water tank which you can fill up right outside, and the toilet is a 200m walk away but it's definitely clean for an outhouse! Make sure to check if your shoes are waterproof, my hiking boots apparently were not and that makes the walk to the toilet a lot less pleasant😅 Overall 10/10 stay in this beautiful landscape!! Make sure to bring your own map or download the map from norgeskart, and do your research on the hikes beforehand (e.g. Middagshornet is absolutely gorgeous but not for the inexperienced hiker)

eine gemütliche Hytta in ruhiger Umgebung, um zu entschleunigen. Ein See ist unweit gelegen. Die Umgebung bietet die Möglichkeit, einfach drauf loszuwandern, wobei es etwas Kreativität verlangt, den passenden Wanderpfad für sich zu finden

Wir wurden herzlich willkommen geheißen und fühlten uns gleich zuhause. Es war alles blitzeblank und die Ausstattung war hervorragend. Sofa und Stoffstühle waren von sehr guter Qualität. Das muss ich hervorheben. Das ist aufgefallen. Die Aussicht auf den Fjord ist so entspannend. Auch wenn’s mal regnet ist durch die vielen Fenster eine tolle Aussicht da. Top!

Beautiful cabin in Strandafjellet! The location is perfect to go skiing/hiking and the view from the cabin is great. It was extremely clean when we arrived, and Gunn Veronika was very welcoming. 100% would recommend!

A welcoming home in a beautiful location. We felt right at home from the moment we got there. The views out each window are stunning and we were fortunate to have a perfect viewpoint of the northern lights while we were there. The home is immaculate with everything you need for an inviting and peaceful stay. It is in a location which made day trips to Loen and Geiranger easy to get to or you could stay close to home and head to the many hiking trails right outside the front door. Stian was a perfect host….making sure we had everything we needed and left clear, helpful instructions for the home. We would come back to this Airbnb without hesitation.

Wat een heerlijk verblijf!! mooi. schoon. super gezellig ingericht. heerlijke bedden. duidelijke informatie.rustig. je voelt je echt thuis in deze hytte. echt top. op loopafstand van de rivier, waar je ook mooi kunt (vlieg)vissen. in een mooie omgeving met makkelijk bereikbaar naar bijvoorbeeld Lom. echt heerlijk gehad. nogmaals bedankt!

Thank you for an amazing weekend in beautiful surroundings! Terje Ivar and Wenches place was perfect for our skiing weekend with close proximity to beautiful mountains, and a relaxing patio to enjoy the sun after skiing. We did not want to leave, and got a flexible check out to enjoy our last day. We would definitely recommend their place, and we hope to come back soon!

If you're looking for a cozy cabin nested in a thicket full of chirping birds, look no further. Staying at Giskemonibba Lodge was a treat, and me and my friends only regret not being able to stay longer. For those of you who like running and hiking, there is a lot of beautiful trails in the area, notably the Giskemonibba summit. For those who prefer to stay indoors, the cabin is well kept and cozy, with two terraces on which to enjoy the sun, and a comfortable furniture inside for those moments when the Norwegian weather has a moody day. Highly recommended!
