The guest house is only 10 minutes by car from the Soers (CHIO). Aachen city center can also be easily reached by bus. During Christmas season there is one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Germany and in summer great open-air concerts just above the border (Netherlands). The red house is located in the idyllic Veytal between Mechernich and Satzvey, directly on the eponymous Veybach. This allows you to enjoy the special location in the middle of the nature of the old forest worker's house, while being only 900 m from the town of Mechernich. The house is located directly on a bike path and thus offers a good starting point for bike tours in the region.

The apartment is on the second floor of an old limestone building, around 350 years old. You sleep right under the roof in a cosy little bedroom or on a convertible sofa. The Dutch and German border are both about 8 km away.
