Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Rockport

My wife and I planned a last minute trip to Camden, Maine and a lot of the best Inns were already sold out. We were also traveling with a toddler so having her share a room with us is less than ideal. Fortunately my wife suggested we check out airbnb and we found this awesome option. Compared to the inns it was very affordable and we got an awesome, comfy and huge space to ourselves with a second bedroom and it’s right next to the Main Street. If you are looking for a prime location in Camden it doesn’t get much better than this. It also came stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen to make it feel like home.

This was our first stay in an Airbnb and it exceeded our expectations! The apartment was exactly as described and included everything necessary to make it the perfect “home away from home”! It is in a great location with restaurants, coffee shops, grocery store and Wilson Lake all within walking distance. Debi was a great host. She kept in contact with us before and during our stay, and quickly responded to all questions. We will definitely stay here again!

Serenity on the Cove is a comfortable and well-equipped apartment on the lower floor of the house. The setting is fabulous, with the windows facing down a slope to the water. Very quiet and well-kept setting. The location is a great base for exploring Bath, Brunswick, Wiscasset and the nearby peninsulas down to Harpswell, Georgetown, etc. David and his partner are gracious hosts and the communication was prompt and clear. 10/10 recommend.

A few times while wandering around midcoast Maine in late March, we were asked if this is when we usually came to vacation here. Yes, we are educators from the Southwest, and this was our spring break, so this is when we came to visit, but honestly, it is so peaceful this time of year. Especially Boothbay Harbor, and what we imagined while walking around the very quiet town would be a very different place in July! Our experience at Abby’s space was absolutely wonderful and serene in the spring. The thoughtful touches (thank you for the bottle of Maine wine and jar of blueberry jelly!) made it even more special. Thank you, we hope to be back one day.

I stayed there for two weeks and I would stay again. It was very quiet which is my number one need. Two it was clean. Three nice kitchen with all the appliances you need. Four Jeanmarie answered all questions quickly and clearly. Five lots of room in the house. Six it was nice and warm in the winter weather.

The home was very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. It was unexpected but amazing to have everything one needs to cook lobster and a Thanksgiving turkey and fixings! David and Hannah were very responsive, welcoming and kind. What a beautiful location in downtown Belfast, very walkable with lovely views. Highly recommended!

Beautiful little house built onto or converted from part of the host's house. Very cozy and comfy, lots of interesting things inside the space too. Susan and Kyle were both very kind and they had made a helpful directory for the area. Easy drive to Portland with everything you needed nearby in Falmouth as well while not being in a busy area. Really nothing is missing from this location and we would recommend it to anyone visiting.

The location of the condo is perfect if you are looking to stay in Maine to explore Acadia. The condo itself is minimalist but completely adequate. The indoor swimming pool and amenities at the clubhouse are perfect for anyone with kids and/or rainy days! The views were beautiful off the deck. I would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay in Ted's place. It has amazing views and the unit is well stocked with all necessities. Highly recommended!

Great unit on the golf. Course with Ocean views out to the islands. Generally peaceful, save for the morning mowing of the golf course. Great place to base to see all of the mid-coast and the Samoset hotel amenities that are available to you are first class

This place was perfect for our family adventures! The kids enjoyed the games, ping pong, and pool at the office- when we weren’t out exploring. Randy was great, and made sure we were taken care of!

This historic home was in the perfect location to walk to downtown Belfast and enjoy all it has to offer. The kitchen was well-stocked so we could cook. Everything was impeccably designed; the bedrooms were comfortable and pretty and we enjoyed playing records and spreading out in the two living rooms. We enjoyed it very much.

This is an amazing property with a very cool house. Check-in was easy, Tyler is a very responsive host, and we were able to find everything we needed and wanted. We especially enjoyed the wood-fired sauna during sunrise, and the fire pit in the evenings.

Very responsive hosts, any issues we had (small issues) they answered within minutes! Very close to the town, beautiful land.

We loved our stay in Portland. The house was beautiful and lay out was great. Our group enjoyed the spacious kitchen and open floor plan. The location to downtown Portland was awesome with just about a 10 minute drive to get to Old Town! Check in was a really easy process and the host was very attentive and thorough! 10/10 would recommend.

Sea Maine made our stay amazing! The house was perfect for us and the recommendations helped us experience all that Boothbay had to offer.

Excellent farmhouse cottage on prime Owl's Head. True Maine living. Kerry is a perfect host, with great communication and easy to talk to. Her home is very dog friendly. It was spacious and entertaining enough for a family of 4. I recommend this home if you want to visit the area. It is well equipped with anything you might need. Thank you for a great time.

This home was beyond expectations. The views are amazing. Going to sleep with the ocean breezes blowing in , listening to the waves and then waking up to the view of the water is just awesome. Immaculately clean, well stocked and great location. Although we would have been content just to sit and enjoy the views every day, there are great day trips. Besides the light house visits, hiking in the state parks, shopping in Freeport, browsing in Kennebunkport and even a day trip into Boston. We all (mom, dad and 2 grown sons) loved every moment of our 9 day stay.
