Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Roche Harbor

Insanely beautiful property!! The attention to detail in the home decor is impeccable and the private outdoor space makes it totally worth the cost. The river access is just stunning — I enjoyed my coffee in a hammock beside the water and saw deer come out to drink, it was unreal! It’s wild that you’re in a neighborhood near other homes but you feel completely isolated. The nearby highway noise didn’t bother us at all. We had one small issue with the heat register making a bothersome noise but the owner was quick to help and we overall had a really lovely stay. Highly recommend!

We came here for a special occasion as part of our book club retreat, and truly enjoyed every waking moment in this beautiful space and the surroundings. There were stunning views and beach access, a fire pit area, hot tub and a deck where we gathered and crafted and even danced. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds were super comfy. Art supplies were a nice touch and a great addition for our group. We want to come back and make it an annual affair!

One of the best houses we have ever stayed at. Beautiful, comfortable with an outstanding view. Perfect place to celebrate my birthday with my daughters! It was a glorious weekend! Thank you Lori!

I was traveling with 3 kids (pre teen and teens). We all loved our stay! There was so much to do and absolutely everything we needed for anything we could think of doing. We enjoyed ping pong, biking, s’more’s, kayaking, games, cooking meals, watching wildlife (seals, a huge sea lion, weasel, bald eagles), and hanging out with a friendly black cat that visited. I cooked a couple meals and had everything I needed for cooking and storage. The view was amazing and north-facing which made me upset that I missed the strong auroras by 1 day :( I wish we could have stayed longer!

This house was amazing. The view was epic. We sat on the porch and watched the seals and otters for hours. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed including some spices for making some dinner and breakfasts. Donna was an excellent host! Will stay again when I’m in the area.

We’ve stayed at many airbnbs and this is the best one in terms of the hosts warmth, consideration and responsiveness. We felt at home right away! There were so many thoughtful touches in the home down to last details. We had a welcome note waiting for us on arrival and eggs from Eric’s farm. It’s also a very beautifully designed home. There are skylights in the bedroom so when we woke up felt like we were in the forest. There were many birds chirping outside in the morning even spotted a wood pecker. Also Eric has two adorable dogs that came to welcome us when we got there. My daughter used some of the guide books to plan our hikes- all in all it was an amazing stay. Anything we could possibly need for our stay was in the house including an amazing shower after hikes, binoculars and hiking poles. It was so beautiful we never wanted to leave!!

Priceless views and amazing architecture are showpieces of this magnificent home that combines coziness, elegance, comfort and rustic charm. We’ve stayed at many airbnbs, but this one is a new favorite. It’s an ideal getaway for the whole family; plus it’s close to interesting hikes and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked for eating at home. We didn’t enjoy the taste of the well water, but bought drinking water at Tru Value. Carley was very responsive and helpful throughout. We would love to come back in the summer.

What an amazing home!! We loved the cottage decor with all the little nooks to hang out, books and games, telescope, cozy blankets. The views from the living room and patio were spectacular. We spent our mornings watching hundreds of herons fishing in the low tide! Walking down the beach to the southern point was so quiet and peaceful. Then ending our nights back out on the patio with a fire - such a relaxing time. Dawn’s home was also so great for our pup. He loved basking in the sun on the patio and exploring the water just steps away. Driving the short loop toward the ferry is well worth the amazing view of Mt Baker, and we enjoyed a little ferry trip to Lummi island, although the cottage is so comfortable and relaxing, we would have been happy not leaving at all during the day too!

Great location that was very peaceful that overlooked the bay. Rooms had comfortable beds that were well maintained. We will be back.

Vicki is the consummate host and truly an ambassador for Orcas Island. She makes sure that you have the best guest experience but also have your privacy. She gives excellent recommendations for excursions and restaurants. Robin Song Studio has breathtaking views of the water and is nestled in the forest. It is such a cozy place. We had such as peaceful and relaxing stay. Thank you, Vicki!

Excellent location to stay for those visiting Victoria, easy to walk to lots of places and centrally located. Place is in a very nice building, very modern and nice apartment great for two people. I would definitely stay again if in Victoria and recommend it to others.

THe apartment exceeded expectations. It was so spacious, sunny and with a great view of the water. The building was grand and very quiet. It was also near the town of Sidney and ferries going to multiple places. My mother and I both had a wonderful time staying here. Neighbors we met were friendly. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the light change on the water and enjoy the lovely weather we had all week. We were only sorry to leave when it was time to go home!

This waterfront inner bay location is an ever changing view of tidal events, birds, and a beautiful garden. Every hour of the day had something different to observe and enjoy. Faces east for moonrise and sunrise views. A lovely setting, kind hosts, and close enough to Edison for dining, art galleries, and a small village stroll. Plus the king bed was incredibly comfortable so sleep was a dream. Recommend adding a visit to Bow Sanctuary sauna and sessions to add a wellness experience.

Beautiful little place, private & clean, beautiful garden as well. Inside is beautiful and modern small but private and peaceful. Christine is very helpful and check in was very easy. Definitely would come again.

Peggys was such a wonderful host and a great communicator. The studio was very clem and the location was spot on. It was very close to everything especially the ferry harbor, which was super convenient for us since island hopped everyday. Would recommend and definitely would stay again.

The Tended Thicket was Great. Excellentstay, the place was exactly as described and Doris was a great host. Kitchen was stocked with cold drinks, coffee, tea and snacks. Bathroom had any item you might have forgotten. Went one of the local recommended restaurants and it was excellent. Such a thoughtful host. Will definitely stay here again!

Super responsive, proactive and accommodating

The place was clean and the view was amazing. The hosts were very quick if we needed anything they were right there and very quick to respond. We for sure will tell our friends to check it out.

My favorite part about staying with May was the personal touches, such as a welcome sign with my name on it. What was even more touching was the surprise wedding gift (I was staying at the airbnb leading up to my wedding). There are a few tiny details I personally would prefer to be different but upon bringing them to the hosts attention they were receptive and considerate of what I had to say.

We were here for a night. We loved our stay, especially the backyard water view. We also spotted deer multiple times. The place was well cleaned and maintained.

Space was rented for a few employees who were working on the area, it served its purpose!

Wonderful home to hang out for the weekend and relax with some friends!

Absolutely beautiful. It is so peaceful here and Anne's home is truly a luxury experience. I loved how spacious the house was - my daughter could be watching a movie on the other side of the house and I wouldn't hear a thing. The pool is beautiful and serene. We loved the massage chair, the bidet toilet (my first time using one of these), and the wonderful shower. The area is an upper-end suburb with cafe's, restaurants and some shopping nearby. There are sidewalks everywhere to walk and the ocean is just a half mile or so away. We mostly did day trips to the city but did have one day in the area checking out open houses just for fun. There are so many enormous, gorgeous houses in this area we were happy to spend an afternoon hopping from one to another. Teresa and Anne were lovely, attentive hosts. We enjoyed the few times we spoke to them and were grateful to have them as. hosts. I highly recommend this home for a quiet, beautiful, luxury stay.

This is an absolutely stunning house with a gorgeous view and perfect location for visiting Salt Spring Island. We were 7 adults and 4 children, here for a weekend and it is well equipped for families. (High chair, cribs, etc.) We were able to walk into town from the house enjoying the Saturday market but the house location is private and pristine. There is a very cottage feeling to the place yet it is also large and elegant as well. A nice mix of experiences. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you could possibly want and the house in general is well supplied with books, games, and activities. It is large enough that you can wander off for some peaceful time on your own while at the same time, the living room and dining room could easily accommodate our numbers as well. We did find some of the furniture, while charming, a bit uncomfortable to sit in and the very firm mattress on the king bed was a bit too much for our aging backs, but that's a plus for some.
