One of the best underrated spots I’ve stayed at. Super close to a big football park – perfect if you're into the game or just want to hang out nearby. The vibe here is amazing – full of friendly, down-to-earth people. The host and staff are honestly some of the nicest folks I've met, really made me feel at home. Wifi was solid too, had no issues working remotely. All in all, a great stay with even better people. Definitely recommend.

My stay at Shillong was absolutely exceptional, largely thanks to the incredible hospitality of Veera! From the moment I arrived, Veera went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable and memorable experience. The house helps Rebecca and Craw were very helpful in providing timely breakfast and all other necessary helps! What truly set this Airbnb apart was the Veera's willingness to help in all possible aspects. Whether it was arranging transportation, offering tips on local culture, suggestions on what restaurants to go or simply being available for a friendly chat, she was always there to assist. Her genuine warmth and helpfulness made me feel truly at home.

We recently stayed at The Hesed House in Cherrapunjee, and it was a delightful experience. The cottage is beautifully done up, offering a cozy and warm ambiance, perfect for a getaway. With four well-appointed bedrooms, it comfortably accommodated our group of 6. One of the standout features was the lovely library, perfect for unwinding with a book after a day of exploring, it would be a great idea to include some board games and jigsaw puzzles for the benefit of ones who’d want to unwind otherwise. The kitchenette along with a nice big dining table was well-equipped, giving us the option to enjoy some light meals in the comfort of the cottage. The fireplace added an extra touch of warmth, making the evenings feel particularly special with superbly made cocktails. We also had the pleasure of trying the local khasi food, which was flavourful and authentic. Tracy, the attendant, was always courteous and greeted us with a warm smile, ensuring that we felt right at home. Thank you.

we loved our 2 days stay at Shairiti's place and wish we had stayed longer. It felt like a home away from home. Shairiti was very responsive and accommodating. Jasper who was there all the time to help us out with our requirements is a great guy and very friendly in nature. I'll recommend her place for anyone who is looking for a peaceful stay, maybe for readers or writers this would be an ideal place to be. Additionally the food that we had was very gourmet and the breakfasts were scrumptious and healthy.

Jeremy and his team went above and beyond in making us feeling comfortable at their place. The service was impeccable and we really appreciated Jeremy’s help in better planning our sightseeing and adventures in and around Shillong. We’d definitely stay at La Monte Inn again whenever we are back in town.
