Waterfront vacation rentals in Rivière du Rempart District

This is our first time we visited Mauritius and we are not really sure how the place is but since we landed, Erika is super quick to response and very helpful. She gave all the necessary information related to room, keys and parking. When we entered the flat, it’s was near and clean, and was exactly same as described in Airbnb. Throughout my 4 day stay, it’s was confortable and Erika always responded well whenever i asked anything to her. Apartment was very close to grand baie beach and all also close to supermarket. I fully recommend this apartment. Thank you Erika for this amazingly and comfortable experience.

We have been visiting Mauritius since 2000 and have always loved spending our holidays on the island. Over the years, we've stayed in a variety of accommodations, including 3-, 4-, and 5-star hotels, as well as private villas. This year was particularly special, as our kids, now young adults, thoroughly enjoyed all the activities—from boat trips and beaches to dining at restaurants and celebrating New Year’s Eve with the spectacular fireworks displays. We highly recommend this accommodation for its central location and the added bonus of a large pool. The host went above and beyond, even arranging car rentals and setting up a braai for us South Africans to enjoy. After years of searching for the perfect spot, we’ve found it and will continue to book this unit for years to come. Thank you for an unforgettable stay

What an incredible house on the best beach in Mauritius. Ludovic was the most fantastic host and was so efficient and helpful. The house is perfectly kitted out, lovely sea view and great amenities. It is also beautifully situated on the most amazing beach. We will be back!

Super séjour. Logement magnifique ! Situation en bord de plage avec accès de l’appartement directe a la superbe piscine. Chambres spacieuses avec rangements et salle de bain avec wc. Les propriétaires répondent aux questions très rapidement et fournissent des informations pour le sejour : adresse excursions, taxis et alimentation. Le ménage est fait tout les jours.

Die Unterkunft ist top... Geraldine hilfreich und hat uns mit allen Infos versorgt...Vielen Dank... Leider mag der Nachbar keine Kinder ( 2. Etage re) hat unsere Kinder jeden Tag angegangen auf französisch ..laut...aggressiv und total unfreundlich Mit Kindern die gerne am Pool spielen und auch mal lauter sind... ist das nicht das richtige... da die Nachbarn alle ihre Ruhe haben wollen und jeden Tag stresst geschoben haben... schade... da es uns bei Geraldine echt super gefallen hat

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, Hugo est toujours disponible et très réactif quand nous lui posons des questions. La terrasse nous offre une vue incroyable et la piscine est très reposante.

We were initially anxious as this was our first Airbnb, but staying here turned out to be the best decision. The villa felt like a true home away from home — clean, safe, and thoughtfully prepared. Laetitia and her family were warm, prompt, and welcoming. We were greeted with fresh fruits (our son loved them!) and they also hosted us for weekend drinks and conversation, which made our stay feel personal and memorable. The kitchen was so well equipped, we could cook daily meals easily, and thoughtful extras like food wrapping sheets helped us pack snacks for day trips. The villa had multiple layers of security, which gave us peace of mind as parents. It’s also very child-friendly, with plenty of toys and space. The location is great — peaceful, yet close to beaches and attractions like Grand Gaube, where we saw one of the most stunning sunrises. Thank you, Laetitia, for your kindness and hospitality. You made our first Airbnb stay truly special. We hope to host you in India someday!

Jollys Rock’s pavillion is one of a kind! We stayed there for three nights (4 days) and the peace that we had the chance to appreciate is just one of a kind! The place is clean and free from any disturbance from the outside world. Safe place for kids and family if you need a break; we mean a true break from the everyday life, this is the place to be. Strongly recommended and we will surely be back again!

We had a great stay! Very spacious accommodation. Everything was very comfortable. We had everything that we needed during our stay. The kitchen is very well equipped. Lots of towels were provided. The bed was very comfortable in my opinion, as well as the pillows - and this cannot always be said! It really is a 300m walk to a beautiful beach. We felt very safe. There are lots of local restaurants nearby and also some grocery shops. Would definitely recommend this accommodation! And would definitely stay here again if I had to visit the north of Mauritius.

Fantastic location, directly on the beach, really quiet. House is decorated with taste and really feel comfortable. The pool is not too deep so rather safe. The beach is really quiet and nice. Swimming is easy and not deep for a long while. East coast is more exposed to wind but end of June we had pleasant weather every days, despite some occasional rain that never lasted long. Asmita the cleaning lady is really friendly but also knows to be discreet. She was really taking good care of the house and us. It’s a real plus to have her. A car is a must to quickly go around, shopping or for dinner. We hope to come back one day.

Venise et Bobby étaient présents pour nous accueillir avec le sourire et la gentillesse. Nous avons apprécié la communication, la réactivité et les conseils de nos hôtes ainsi que la flexibilité d'arrivée et de départ. Belle maison spacieuse et très bien agencée avec tout l'équipement souhaitée et nécessaire pour reussir un beau séjour. La terrasse et le jardinet sont très appréciables avec le calme et le chant des oiseaux au réveil. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. Очень Крутая локация, выход к воде и это почти приватная территория! Тихое и уютное место! Большой дом с хорошими кроватями и подушками (не высокие и не жесткие), для нас это всегда важно) Наталя встретила очень дружелюбно и даже приготовила приветственный ужин ❤️ Очень понравилась терраса, очень уютная! Точно рекомендую!

Out stay at the Catch Up Time villa was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the ocean and the charming, well-maintained surroundings. The villa itself is spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped with everything we needed. There were indoor and outdoor games available which made the stay even more enjoyable. The hosts were welcoming, attentive and made sure on daily basis that everything was OK. We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for either a peaceful retreat or looking for fun with family and friends.

What a perfect location right on the beach and a beautiful bay. It is a rustic fisherman's cotage with 2 bedrooms each with its own toilet, shower and basin. Very well equiped with microwave, gas stove, pod-coffee maker, weber barbecue, beach towels etc. Dominique very graciously lent us some snorkels and diving fins which we used every day to snorkel on the reef. We viewed the most amazing sunsets (and sunrises) from the comfort of the "lounge" Which is actually a covered veranda. The veranda has electric rollers so you can close it for security. There is a cleaner that comes in every weekday morning and a security guard that patrols every night. However, we never felt unsafe. Take mosquito repellent, there are loads of mosquitoes. There is a nice supermarket called "Winners" approximately 1,2km down the road that has everything you may need. If you walk north along the beach to the next bay, you can book canoes and boat rides from the beach. Will stay here again, highly recommended.

Une maison les pieds dans l’eau. Nous sommes es nageurs d eau libre et nous avons pu nager 2x par jours 2000m en toute sécurité avec des plages avoisinantes magnifiques. Des couchers de soleil digne de l océan indien. Sans au ciné hésitation nous reviendrons

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cet appartement, l’emplacement était très bien pour pouvoir faire des courses, aller à la plage ainsi qu’au restaurant sans avoir besoin de prendre la voiture et visiter le nord de Maurice. Le logement était propre, le petit jardin était un vrai plus. Bien équipé pour accueillir un bébé Petit bémol pour le bruit, la route qui passe juste derrière le mur du jardin est une route principale avec beaucoup de passages et des voitures qui roulent vite.

Plage à 2 minutes a pieds. Supermarchés, restaurants , boutiques ,activités proches. Logement neuf , propre, avec tout ce qu'il faut. Hote très réactif par message . Belle Piscine juste en bas de la résidence. 1 place de parking sécurisée réservée juste en bas de la résidence. Endroit silencieux. Très bien, je recommande 👍

Der Aufenthalt war superschön in der sehr komfortablen Wohnung 😉 es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Der Kontakt wenn man was benötigt war schnell und unkompliziert. Ich kann die Wohnung mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt 😍

It’s exactly like the pictures…beautiful with a lot of nice restaurants around and a daily needs store nearby…

Nous avons passé quelques jours dans ce logement avec ma femme et mes deux enfants. Le logement a répondu à nos attentes : il était très propre et bien situé, on pouvait aller sur la plage à pieds et des paddles étaient mis à disposition. Il y a un supermarché à 2 mn en voiture et c'est une bonne localisation pour rayonner sur la moitié nord de l'île. Nous avons été très bien été par Marianne la compagne de Hervé Emmanuel qui nous a donné plein d'idées d'activités à faire aussi avec les enfants.

Das Appartment war traumhaft. Besser als auf den Bildern. Wie im Paradies. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit. Mit dem Auto sind Supermärkte und Restaurants erreichbar. In der gut ausgestatteten Küche kann man aber auch wunderbar selbst kochen. Besonderes Plus: 3 mal pro Woche wird gereinigt. Luxus! Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Villa splendide ! Endroit calme. Accès direct à la plage et au barachois. Vraiment rien à dire, vraiment top ! Bravo Béatrice 😊
