Vacation rentals with breakfast in Rivière du Rempart District

What a stay! Even when we arrived late in the night Vanessa gave us an hearty welcome. Next to an detailed roomtour, we got offered an precious beach- and tourgide for the next days and in general a lot of helpfull hints with sightseeing, food and local culture. The appartment itself was super clean, so our toddler could explore everything without any hesitation. The interior is lovely choosen and fits well to the high standard that is offered. Surrounded by a lot of green gras, different plants and even a bananatree we could enjoy our breakfest in the morning. A wide variety of dishes was offered and more then enough for two and a half hungry eaters. ;) Vanessa really takes care of her guests and asked us about allergys or special needs so that she can adapt the breakfest when needed. Mauritius offers a lot of different places and we felt really safe here. Surrounded beside nice houses in a little street we could enjoy our sleep and start tours into all directions of the island.

The view from the private balcony was MY BEST! The birds, Sea, palm trees and Pool. I swam daily in the pool basically had it to myself! There is a bus stop outside the front gate easy access to all of Mauritius. Fabulous restaurants in Trou Aux Biches. If you are looking for upmarket pristine modern accommodation this is not for you, if you are looking for a peaceful safe independent friendly place to stay then I highly recommend it. There are 2 cats they are adorable and love affection! Dee was more than welcoming and helped me with anything I needed. My message is don’t sweat the small stuff, no aircon remote yet it’s the coldest aircon I’ve ever encountered, light switch not there however there is a bedside light, water in shower not hot however it’s powerful and amazing. The kitchen has all the gadgets for coffee, toasties, stove oven etc. I’ve had an amazing get away, it’s my 29th time Visiting Mauritius and I’ll be back! Try and you"ll feel like at home. Positive atmosfere, quite close to the sites Botanical garden, Sugar factory musem, view to the close hills., nice little terrace in green plants where to relax. Thank you again for yor hospitality of great hosting family.

Nous avons passé une nuit. Nous étions trois. La voiture était bien en sécurité et les lits confortables. Rien à dire. Le contact avec Yash et son accueil ont été parfaits.

Mirella and her family are most friendly and helpful. The Appartement is clean and tidy and has a walk-in closet wäre also the suitcases can be stored. AC was working silently and effective. Parking Space was Kindle Pferd in the yard- but we found enough space outside. We can fully recommend booking with Mirella!

Magnifique rencontre avec Marie et Thierry les hôtes de ce havre de paix. La chambre est charmante et très propre, la literie confortable, des mangues et bananes du jardin étaient offertes dans une corbeille. Pas de bruit de l'extérieur, un jardin magnifique luxuriant, des arbres fruitiers, la piscine, un lieu pour se ressourcer et apprécier la douceur de vivre à Maurice. Les petits déjeuners préparés par Marie sont excellents, fruits frais coupés, confitures maison, toasts, oeufs,beaucoup de générosité chez Marie et Thierry. Accès à la plage facile en 5 mn à pieds, la baie de Balaclava est magnifique. Marie est très à l'écoute et toujours prête à donner des informations concernant des lieux de visites où des bonnes adresses. La situation géographique de la maison est propice à de nombreuses visites dans toute l'île. Marie et Thierry sont discrets et en même temps très présents si on le souhaite. Je recommande vivement ce lieu si reposant et ses hôtes chaleureux. Merci Marie et Thierry

Très bien accueillis par Arjuna et Sharon et très bonnes explications et disponibilité de Sharon pour notre séjour! Nous étions très contents de l'accueil, du logement et de son emplacement. On a passé un agréable séjour et belle continuation à vous!!

Hedley was a great host! He picked me up from the train station, showed me around the area and made sure that I have a great stay! I highly recommend to stay here. The apartment was nice and Wi-Fi worked well.

Nicole's place is lovely and you feel like you are in the trees and it has amazing views. The apartment has everything that is needed and I would very much recommend.

Emplacement exceptionnellement à moins de 3 minutes à pieds de la gare bus et du métro mais aussi des restaurants et du bazar. Appartement propre et grand. Endroit calme. Je recommande fortement. Feeroza en plus reste très disponible et est agréable.

Отличный приветливый хозяин и отличное жилье. Просторно, есть все, что нужно. Сейчас (декабрь 2021) слева стройка, поэтому немного шумно, но нам не мешало. Думаю через год стройка точно закончится и будет дополнительный красивый вид на территорию отклей. Нам все понравилось, хорошая энергетика у квартиры. И милые собачки :) Спасибо!

L'appartement de Bernadette est très propre, dans un immeuble calme. La terrasse est agréable. Bernadette est réactive et très amicale. On se sent rapidement comme en famille. Très bon rapport qualité prix Je recommande les yeux fermés

Fantastic 4 night stay - Yulia was very communicative right from the start and all instructions were clear and she helped us to organise car hire through a local agent, Nazim, who met us at the airport. The property was spotless throughout and very comfortable - Preety, the housekeeper, was an absolute delight - she cooked for us one night and we wish we could have stayed longer to taste more Mauritian cuisine! The apartment was excellently located for sunrise viewings from the beach, it is in a gated community with very friendly guards and the building manager, Kathy, came and introduced herself so we could contact her if there was any issues (which there wasn't!). We are already missing the snorkelling right off the beach - I saw an eagle ray on my first swim! We would highly recommend Yulia's apartment - stay longer than 4 nights!

Ich habe dieses Apartment kurzfristig gebucht und konnte am selben Tag einziehen. Es ist mit allem essentiellen ausgestattet. Es gibt allerdings, (wie in Mauritius üblich) keinen Ofen. Es gab warmes Wasser für die Dusche und eine große Verandafläche. Als ich Einzog hatte mich Cadir gefragt ob ich gut kochen könne, als ich ihn erzählt habe das es zum Überleben reicht hat er mir jeden Abend von ihrem Abendessen etwas vorbei gebracht und einpaar Minuten mit mir geredet. Ich habe mich über den Kontakt sehr gefreut da ich alleine gereist war. Er hatte mich zudem zu seinem Geburtstagsessen eingeladen. Dort sagte mir seine Frau das sie mich, während meines Aufenthalts, als Teil ihrer Familie betrachte und bot mir an meine Hemden zu bügeln weil ich so zerknittert aussah. Alles in allem war ich sehr zufrieden und habe mich sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Schränke sind allerdings etwas feucht, ich rate dazu Geschirr vor dem benutzen abzuspühlen und Kleidung nicht in den Schränken zu lagern.

Au top, après un deuxième séjour Sous le Badamier, nous ne pouvons que recommander cet hôtel ! Une équipe aux petits soins, accueillants, pleins de bonnes adresses ! La chambre est propre et nettoyé tous les jours ! Le petit déjeuner copieux et varié !

The accommodation in the Dodolalodge was very nice and corresponds to the description and the photos. Christian is a great and friendly host who is always available with advice and support. Also a car rental was possible without any problems. The lodge is quietly located in a side street, to the beautiful beach and some restaurants it is a 5-10 minutes walk. There is also a supermarket nearby.

Ashok and his wife were really nice to stay up until 1 AM as my taxi was very late. They were very kind upon my arrival. The house is beautiful and very clean. The location is great. The breakfast was delicious. I wish I could stay in Mauritius longer, thank you guys!

Yannick and her husband welcomed us in the best possible way. Their house is fantastic and our tree house in their garden was very cosy. We felt like at home, they were lovely with us. breakfast was delicious. I strongly reccomend to stay at their place. you will live an unforgettable experience!

Äußerst idyllische und ruhige Unterkunft in einem wunderschönen Garten. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Der Gastgeber ist sehr aufmerksam, bemüht und hilfsbereit. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen, möchten aber darauf hinweisen, dass ein Mietwagen auf jeden Fall notwendig ist, um die Umgebung erkunden zu können.

Great stay! Breakfast provided was very nice, always different and tasty. Hosts were very helpful with finding the place with our taxi driver. Great beach within 10 minutes walk at times we were the only people on the beach. Room was cosy and clean, bed comfy and AC brilliant. Every few days towels were changed which is great! The bathroom was big and shower great! Outdoor area was always clean. Pool was nice and clean but didn’t use. With your room you get a fridge which is great. We sat outside in the garden for a couple of nights, Parmeet put some music on and fairy lights which was awesome. Great place to stay!

My other planned stays in Mauritius were at large resorts and I was apprehensive that I may not be comfortable or engaged at this cozy spot. However, deciding to stay at The Good Life was a fantastic decision and led to some of the most memorable experiences I had on my (solo) trip. Antoine and his wife were warm and welcoming; he provided me with numerous resources, information and assistance. Above and beyond. My sole minor complaint was the unavailability of air-con during the (hot, humid) days. I appreciate the effort to be eco-friendly, but if you intend to spend time in the room, this is something to consider. That said, both the breakfast area and bungalows are cheery, bright, modern and spotless. The pool and gardens are magical - an absolute oasis. There are numerous thoughtful touches in the design of the rooms, delicious, fresh meals, solicitous service (thank you, Cavita!) and whatever detergent they use smells INCREDIBLE. Thanks, TGL - I recommend without reservation

Un petit écrin de nature bien caché avec une végétation luxuriante et de magnifique frangipaniers en fleurs! Personnel et john trés professionnel et sympathique, on sest sentis comme à la maison je recommande vivement!
