Our spacious country house, located directly on Sinking Creek, is the perfect getaway space for nature lovers or anybody who just wants to relax to the soothing water as it flows by. In the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, guests are only one mile from the Appalachian Trail, and some the most beautiful hiking in the state, including Cascades Falls, are only a short drive away. Additionally, the New River, with its kayaking, canoeing, boating and tubing, is only 20 minutes away.

This 1 room cabin with kitchenette (2 top burner, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker) with full bath is set on Toms Creek, fifteen minutes drive from Virginia Tech and the town of Blacksburg. The space itself is private, rustic and charming even though we live just next door. We thank you for no pets, vaping or smoking inside the cabin and we are happy to share that our onsite managers, Ray and Mara, will be handling all inquiries on our behalf.

Laura's place was the perfect place to stay while I was helping my son move out of his apartment at VT. It was quiet, clean and Laura was a very responsive and helpful host. I would definitely stay there again.

Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She was able to offer a little bit of flexibility that we needed, which was much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and take advantage of some of the nature hikes that lead to waterfalls in addition to spending time with our daughter in Blacksburg.

Absolutely gorgeous, inviting home with all the little touches. Host, Susan, made me feel right at home. Viewed a magnificent sunset from my bedroom window then enjoyed watching TV from bed. Bedroom, kitchen and bathroom areas are all spacious. Susan was very responsive, accessible. Her home is a true gem that I would recommend to anyone. I will definitely book again!
