Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Río Oro

Excelente ubicación cerca de tiendas y restaurantes. Apartamento bastante completo con utensilios de cocina, laundry, etc. No hay aire acondicionado en la habitación pero sí un abanico. En nuestro caso, solo éramos mi esposo y yo, prendimos el aire acondicionado de la sala y dejamos la puerta de la habitación abierta para que entrara el frío. Dormimos muy bien! La cama súper cómoda y sábanas bien limpias. De todo lo demás excelente y muy cómodo el espacio.

The location was easy to locate via Uber only 10 minutes away from the airport, which was super convenient. I got in about 9 PM and he had someone meet me at the Airbnb and go over any questions I had connecting to Wi-Fi. Very helpful. The Airbnb was exactly as listed Pots pans cups glasses, seasonings coffee, toaster washer and dryer. The beds were comfortable great restaurants not too far away all within a 15 minute walk or less. There’s a great Mexican restaurant right around the corner. Lots of plants in the house which makes it feel like home.There is street noise as mentioned in other post things, but it’s manageable if you are used to Costa Rica. Overall, highly recommend cannot say enough positive things about this place.

We stayed here the night before our flight home out of the San Jose airport. This was a perfect, affordable, lovely spot that is very convenient to the airport (5 min drive). The surrounding area wasn't ideal as it was hard to find good food within walking distance, but there were several spots within a 5-8 minute drive. The condo was clean, the property was excellent with a pool, playground and workout center and strong security. The host was very friendly and responsive! We'd definitely stay here again when we want to be near the airport!

Buscábamos un lugar cerca del Centro de Convenciones y este lugar está muy cerca como a 5 minutos. El departamento es muy moderno y tiene dispensadores de snacks y café auto asistido, eso me pareció excelente dado que llegamos bastante tarde y queríamos un café y pudimos comprar uno. Limpieza excelente y espacio súper agradable. Hay parqueo privado y seguridad. Volveríamos alojarnos aquí.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was the perfect mix of city amenities and cozy accommodation. The staff at reception were very welcoming, the unit was well equipped and the restaurants nearby were convenient with a good variety. There is a full market just a couple blocks away, so we were very easily able to purchase groceries so we could eat in the unit as well. We cooked most mornings. The bed was also comfy with lots of pillows! The hosts were very quick to address any questions we had and were gracious. The location is a bit of a drive to the airport with traffic, but Uber was only a $25-$30 charge. We were feeling adventurous one day and actually walked our way into San Jose city center, so it’s a quick hop into the city by car or bus. It can be a little loud sometimes at night with the motorcycles and city traffic but it usually quieted down by 10pm. If we ever find ourselves back in the area we would definitely stay there again.

Un muy buen lugar para quedarse, siempre son atentos a las consultas que uno realiza y el alojamiento es muy cómodo, seguro, y tiene una excelente ubicación.

This was the perfect place for my visit. Great amenities, great location and great place overall.

Andres was very nice since we first met him. He was always communicating and very informative with recommended places to eat and places to visit but also avoid to be safe. Andres looked out for us and made check in super easy . Thank you for all you did andres !

Mainor a été super sympa avec nous, on est arrivés à 5 jeunes et il nous a proposé d'être notre papa adoptivo donc je pense que le courant est bien passé. Il nous a même offert une bouteille et proposé des activités, vraiment je recommande ! Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour !!!

El mejor lugar que hemos visitado en SJ! El lugar estaba nítido cuando llegamos. El check in fue sencillo. Parqueo bajo techo es ideal en estas épocas :de lluvia. El lugar está equipado a la perfección. Tener 1 y 1/2 baños es súper conveniente. Definitivamente se convertirá en nuestro #1 en el Este de SJ.

Nice place to stay. I felt safe and secure. The house was in excellent condition. We had plenty of towels. I would stay again.

We had a wonderful short stay at Francisco’s house! The place was spotless, beautifully designed, and had a perfect balance of minimalism and functionality. As parents of a little baby, we felt completely at ease letting him explore, knowing the space was safe and well-kept. Francisco was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely love to come back!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Vera left nothing undone or to chance. Regardless of your preferences, she has thought of it and has taken care of it right down to basil growing in the window. It is the best place to stay for your jumping off place to Latin America. She speaks English to help you get over the rough spots on your pigeon Spanish. The workout area is wonderful to get the muscles working again after a winter of little exercise. The location up the hill is cool and pleasant, close to the town of Atenas but also close to the jungle where a flock of toucans came flying through the trees close to the deck. The neighborhood is very safe. Yes, we would do it again if we got the chance but she gets booked early and often.

Excellent host, and one of the best equipped homes we have stayed in!! Very well decorated and sure made you feel the luxury component that this place offers. Directly around the corner from the unit is common area with conference rooms , gym, and an elegant lap pool backed by a forested setting! Highly recommended option!!
