This little farm is a true haven in the middle of nature! The outdoor space is simply magical — spacious, full of beautiful nooks and crannies and with animals that delighted the children from start to finish. They were days of great peace, fresh air and smiles, lulled by the wonderful sound of water always running in the pool. The house is very well-equipped, cozy and designed for all ages. Inês was an exemplary host, always available and attentive, and Dona Doras also deserves a special thank you for her prompt and kind help. We will treasure this experience with great affection! Everything was great & we got great recommendations for the area. Upon arrival, we met at a nearby cafe and were escorted to the accommodation. On site, we were very warmly welcomed and received the first information. After half the stay, we even got fresh towels. Unfortunately, two things are not apparent from the description: the view of the lake is obscured by trees & you have direct neighbors. But that didn't bother us & we would always come back!

On our trip to Portugal, the Douro Valley was the highlight of the trip from the storybook views to the spread of freshly picked cherries, homemade preserves and wine awaiting our arrival to the cleanliness and comforts of a beautiful home perched high up on the vineyard terraced hills. The game room was an incredible surprise - there are seven eighties arcade games along with a ping pong table, a foosball table and an infinity game with over 150 board games built into the table. The hospitality was second to none. Gabrella, the property manager, was one step ahead of us ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our stays one of the most memorable. Sephi, the owner, is one of the most generous people we have ever met. His passion for region and willingness to offer his time to you is amazing. We spent one morning touring his winery, learning the old way of making wine and enjoying the fruits of his labor – an extraordinary experience not a just another Air BnB.

Great place to forget everyday life. A modern house on old foundations, the stream flows underneath, you can see it through the glass bottom cutout in the floor. The rushing waterfall is omnipresent, also visible through the large panoramic windows. If you are sure on your feet, you can climb into the river above the waterfall (beware of a few thorny branches here and there) and swim against the current until the fresh temperature forces you to turn back. But you can also cool off in the fresh pool at any time. The Internet is also very relaxed, so you can get back to reading books and forget the world outside. The neighboring village of Taide can be hiked in a good 30 minutes. The restaurant "Tasquinha do Povo" was an experience, loving hospitality, delicious sardines, fresh homemade flatbread and then seduced by the locals at the neighboring table to a local wine. It was a great experience for us.
