Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ringkøbing Fjord

A true gem on the West Coast, if you'd like to get away from Søndervig's plastic eye candy! The house is perfectly furnished for a family, and it is nice and quiet in the woods + you are close to a fantastic beach without too many other tourists. Can be highly recommended

We just stayed in Skaven for an extended weekend, but felt immediately at home and there is absolutely nothing to complain about. We loved the house, the location close to the Fjord and, as it was still early season, the lonelyness and therefore the walks with our dog or riding arround w/ our bikes. Would definitely recommend the house and maybe we will come back next year, but than for more than 4 nights / 3 days!

We had a lovely time in Henne Strand in the house of Sören and Rabea. It is located as described on the edge of the dunes and the nature reserve. The direct route to the North Sea via the dunes was a bit exhausting with children, but doable☺️. The equipment of the house is very good and everything is available. The rooms were a little smaller, but adequate. Sören and Rabea had also provided us with 2 children's beds beforehand, which were still new. The trampoline and sandbox were excellent for the children. It was a very relaxing vacation, although the whole family was there😉. It is remote in the middle of other vacation homes, yet we lacked nothing. Unfortunately, our predecessors did not clean the kitchen utensils and the grill properly, so we took care of that. The full stars in each category are more than warranted. The communication with David is proactive, he responds on his own and not in response. The house is very bright, modern, clean and spacious, the furniture is comfortable and there are plenty of accommodation options for your own belongings. The location is fantastic as the last house in front of the enchanting dune landscape. I thank David for sharing his wonderful house with others.

We just had the most wonderful weekend at this little lovely house. As dogs love, the house is perfect with fenced yard. You feel really welcome, human as a dog. Thank you for a lovely weekend. Dorte and Thomas

The house is a real gem and corresponds 100% to the photos. Great location. The beach is within walking distance and stunning. The free use of the swimming pool was also great.

We rented the beautiful vacation home with our one-year-old child and our dog and felt very comfortable! The house is very lovingly decorated and you can tell that the old charm of grandpa's house is to be preserved. In a few places you can tell the age of the house, but that did not bother us. There is everything you could ever need in the house, otherwise there is a shopping facility in the next town. There was also great soft ice cream and fish. For us, the highlight was the sea within walking distance. For our child, it was more like the sandbox in the garden. We spent a very quiet, relaxing holiday here ☀️🦭🐠

A very nice beach house, in a quiet corner of Denmark. An ideal place to unwind and watch the sea for hours from the living room while reading and hearing the rain patter on the roof. Great house with a beautiful garden, in the morning a deer with fawn visited us in the garden. Very uncomplicated hosts who provide their guests with a very nice place to stay.

Our stay in Victoria's appartment was simply great. We stayed for new year's 2023 and were hoping to spend two quiet nights away from the big fireworks. The view on the beach is really amazing, what a view to wake up to! The flat is easy to find, self-checkin was seamless and we found the place and the kitchen equipped with everything we needed. We slept in the bed in the small bedroom and found it good for two nights. A small Spar supermarket is closeby in case you need to buy anything. The beach is just outside and we took some nice walks there. It is good to bring rubber/waterproof shoes. During our stay, the outdoor and indoor pool were closed due to renovations, but we were able to make use of the sauna which was really great! There are two small saunas in the building where you can find the indoor pool. Communication with Victoria was simply great. Overall, I can highly recommend this place, I think it is perfect for two people. I can imagine it might be more crowded in summer.

We liked it super well. It is very nice to walk through the cow barns at any time & linger with the calves in the straw. We also had a great Easter walk on Hindo Island. Bed linens & towels are there & the kitchen has everything you need to cook. Thank you for the wonderful time!

It was a very nice to stay at Bjarne‘s place for us. The location is super as you can easily walk to the old town (just around 7 - 9 minutes walk). Netto is nearby so you can buy anything you need. You will stay upstair with 3 rooms (kitchen, toilet, and living room plus sleeping room). Parking is behind the house, there will be a sign of parking place and you can parl for free for 48 hours if you do not love your car. Bjarne is very friendly and he responded to our message very quick. I would love to stay at his place again.

Beautifully furnished apartment. The automatic Velux windows particularly impressed me. :) Great kitchen, comfortable bed, sun-drenched rooms. The apartment is well located - there is not much in the village itself, but you can get everywhere quickly. I felt very comfortable

Wonderful stay! The garden is beautiful, we loved listening to the birds and sitting in the sunroom surrounded by pretty flowers and plants. Inside is plenty of space and comfy. Hosts were great, very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Great accommodation right on the sea. The beach is right outside the door. Nice little cottage to yourself. Everything necessary was available. The view directly on the water immediately created a holiday mood. Really nice.

The place was just fantastic. A huge property, quietly and idyllically located, offered us the perfect environment to unwind and relax with the children. The huge playground was a highlight for the little ones and allowed them fun and adventure. The place itself was extremely lovingly decorated, with lots of little details that made the stay particularly pleasant. We felt completely comfortable and can highly recommend this property. Glad to come back!

The house was great for us with 9 people! Everything was clean, tidy and with 10 beds, the large kitchen, the large living room and 2 bathrooms with shower enough space for everyone. The kitchen has everything your heart desires; enough dishes and cutlery, pots, pans, salad bowls, pasta strainers and much more. Only the shower curtains were missing, so the floor was a little soaked, especially upstairs. The pool table is a bit crooked and the piano is out of tune, but that doesn't stop you from having a great time with your friends/family :) The beach is 15 minutes by car, where we spent two beautiful evenings with fantastic sunsets and the brave ones even bathed at 15°C and 1m high waves❄️🌊☀️☀️

Great area with first-class whiskey distillery, fjord, North Sea coast and Ringköbing at your doorstep (come here every few years my whole life). Beautifully quiet location. Nice and fast communication. We were allowed to come earlier from the host and stay longer, so very accommodating. The house was very clean and tidy as well as excellently equipped. The wildlings bath was great and quite quickly heated, the grill a gas grill from Weber. Decorations etc. were known before, so from my point of view you can't complain about it. We were very satisfied and nothing broke with 6 children aged 1 - 8.

We had a great stay in Peter's place! The house had plenty of space for our family and the location was perfect. We could walk to the Lego House, Legoland, and plenty of nearby restaurants and stores. We especially enjoyed the many sitting areas around the house and the outdoor patio area for relaxing in the evenings. This is a great family-friendly place to stay and we would highly recommend!

I was there with my girlfriend over New Year's Eve and we had a lovely time. The beach and dunes were 2 minutes by foot and you could go for a nice walk along the dunes. Thanks to the oven, you could warm up well after being on the road for a long time and felt as good as at home. The only point that unfortunately bothered us a little, which could be changed for the future, would be to hang roller blinds or thick curtains on the upper floor so that it is dark at night and you are not kept awake by the street lamp. Of course, there would have been two single beds downstairs, but as a couple we preferred to sleep upstairs where it was also a little cooler than downstairs. But if we go back to Thyborøn, I would book Mads' place again.

Anita's communication has been good and we had all the information we needed - she is a very helpful host, we'd love to stay again.

We visited the house for a week when the weather was not so good, and therefore enjoyed the interior of the house, which is very tasteful and elegant. The house has everything you could wish for, from exquisite kitchen utensils, stylish furniture, MTB bikes, sun loungers with delicious cushions, and a cozy little annex with large glass sections. Despite the challenging weather, we also managed to gather a good portion of oysters on the beach, and Gunnar had some very practical shoes we could wear as we went out into the water to the sharp oysters.

We enjoyed the apartment very much. It had a quiet location and everything was very clean. Our dog also had the bright joy on the meadow by the house. A very quiet and all-round closed location. Special is the herbal lighthouse. The man can always see from the apartment. We will be happy to come back.
