The dormitory in Wierum is a beautiful and cozy apartment with private sauna (for an additional fee), located in a former primary school 100m from the Wadden Sea. It is located in the middle of the Unesco World Heritage, where you can intensely enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Wadden area. The apartment is surprisingly spacious (70m2) and can accommodate up to 5 people. Children can have fun on the trampoline, on the grass/soccer field and can also cuddle with our rabbits and guinea pigs.

At the top of the Netherlands, near the Wadden Coast, you will find this sustainable and energy-neutral tiny house. The cottage is located at the back of our property and is surrounded by a natural garden. It has wide views and offers a lot of privacy. The tiny house is decorated with love and in detail. It is completely made of wood and has a surface area of 30m². The cottage is fully equipped, everything you need is available. Enjoy the scenery and the skies, the tranquility and the space!

Atmospheric island house from 1724. At the edge of the village, near the center. Equipped with modern comfort; TV, wifi, espresso machine, oven / microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, washing machine, tumble dryer, c.v. and wood burning stove. Bathroom with sink, shower and separate toilet. Terrace in front of the house on the south side. Bedroom on the ground floor, two separate beds (90x200 cm). Upstairs bedroom, with open connection to the stairs: two separate beds (90x200 cm).

Apartment Aloha Ameland, Neighbors

Apartment Aloha is located on the outskirts of the village of Buren overlooking the meadows, the dunes and the Wadden Sea. The Wadden Sea is 5 minutes by bike, the beach and the North Sea 10 minutes. The cozy 4-person vacation home is located in the front house of our farmhouse. The building is built in traditional Ameland farmhouse style and spacious. Also well suited for children, the shared garden has a playground. Booking via Airbnb is possible up to 3 months in advance.

Relax in our cottage on the coast. Use all your senses in the discovery of "our" Wadden Sea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you can enjoy hiking, biking and bird watching. For day trips, you can be in Leeuwarden, Groningen or on Schiermonnikoog or Ameland within an hour. Have you ever been to the beautiful Dokkum? It is only 12 km away. Cozy accommodation in islander house

From this perfectly located home base, everything is within reach. In the old hairdressing salon of the island, you can feel like an islander for a while. In the middle of the authentic village of Schiermonnikoog, you go back in time. You have your own terrace and entrance in front of our house. We enter through the back entrance. This gives you privacy. Shops and beach are within walking distance. Beds are made upon arrival, bicycles are ready. Enjoy!

Cozy ground floor apartment with garden near the city center

Leeuwarden is 'by far' the prettiest city of the Netherlands! And it's only a 3 minutes walk to the city center. This 100 year old, cute house is located in the peaceful and quiet Vossenparkwijk. The 2 city parks Prinsentuin and Vossenpark are around the corner and you can almost see the famous Tower of the Oldenhove from the garden. Relax in the backyard with a cup of tea or go out for dinner in one of the very good restaurants in the city! Enjoy!

Relax and unwind in this peaceful, stylish space. The apartment was completed in 2021 and is equipped with every comfort. There is a lovely bed with luxurious bedding. The bathroom has a rain shower, soft towels and Meraki shower gel and shampoo. There is also floor heating in the apartment and a kitchen equipped with oven, spacious refrigerator and induction cooktop. The apartment has its own private garden for guests. Rinsumageast, cozy cottage located on the edge of the forest.

"Come and relax in our cottage 'Welgelegen', on the edge of the forest. You can enjoy and relax here. You can also enjoy hiking and nature here. Within 10 minutes, you can be in Dokkum, and within half an hour, you can be in Leeuwarden or Drachten. You can park for free at the forest, right next to the cottage. All basic facilities are available, and this allows you to fully relax and enjoy your stay in Rinsumageast!"

Hidden place near the center of Leeuwarden

Hidden in the Leeuwarden district of Huizum, lies the former kindergarten "Boartlik Begjin". At the end of the Ludolf Bakhuizenstraat, lies this special quiet place, within walking distance of the city center and the train station. A nice base to go into the city, shop or visit one of the museums. And also to discover the rest of Friesland. The room is also suitable as a home office (WiFi available).

The little hermit, fisherman's cottage behind the dike

The little hermit is located in the old romantic fishing village of Moddergat near the Waddendijk. It is hidden in a small garden, where you can enjoy the peace and the sun. There are many opportunities here for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. The Wadden Sea, full of birds and various smells and sounds, is always a fantastic experience.
