Nice starting point for hiking and recreation. Short distance to the beach on hot days. Sylan and Skardsfjellene are ready for exploration summer and winter. Ski trails are close to the cabin. Tydal Ski Center is 8-10 minutes away by car and is a nice alpine resort for the whole family. Groceries and Stugudal Grill are 1 km away from the cabin.

The flat comprises the entire ground floor of a small farmhouse and has a main bedroom with ensuite, a sitting room (functions as a second bedroom when there are more than two guests), a kitchen and a second bathroom. The surroundings are peaceful and you can park right outside the door. At certain times of year, you might see elk or cranes. In the summer, cows graze in the nearby fields; the traditional barn is now a cultural centre, run by Fjøsakademiet.
