About 4 km north from the city of Horta is Almoxarife Beach. In the "a moagem" space, there is life in every corner, in the garden there is a water cistern and a threshing floor. This is the best spot to watch the sunset and start your walks. It's only a 10 minutes drive from Madalena and about 20 miutes drive from the airport.
