I spent a glorious month at Maria Celeste’s home. It was simply the best place to reset, connect with nature & rest. I’ve never been to a more peaceful home. Freshly squeezed orange juice (from trees) every morning. Lemons for water. A natural spring to swim off hiking grime. Mountains to climb surrounding the entire home. Lizard & butterfly friends. And so so quiet. Maria Celeste picked me up & drove me to the location. Taxi services available to go to town when needed. I can not recommend staying at this home more. If you need some R’n’R, stay. You won’t regret it.

Beautifully furnished, clean house equipped with everything you need. The location is extremely quiet so you feel like you are the only house in the area. The complex is very well maintained and the pool is large enough for swimming. Communication with Carla is straightforward and friendly, we always felt we could contact her in case of problems. We enjoyed every second and there is nothing to complain about. If we choose Portugal again, the accommodation and Carla will be our first choice again.

Fantastic stay in Pedro's home from home, Pedro was very friendly and helpful, and the property was just what we wanted for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, and a great location for us to explore the wonderful north of Portugal. Stayed for about 10 days, and enjoyed every minute. Thank you very much to Pedro and his family.

A great place to stay with driving distance of Great Douro wineries, miradouro with an incredible view of the valley. Very clean, large and more beautiful than the photos show. Vitor and Marilia are great hosts, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there..

Excellent stay. A farm with a magnificent and very well-kept outdoor space. A host, Mr. Rui, who strives to make our stay as rewarding as possible. Sonia does everything to make us feel at home, preparing excellent and varied breakfasts. Alpha, who played with our Leia. Well-located farm to walk around Gerês and excellent to rest and recharge. A place to return to.

This little farm is a true haven in the middle of nature! The outdoor space is simply magical — spacious, full of beautiful nooks and crannies and with animals that delighted the children from start to finish. They were days of great peace, fresh air and smiles, lulled by the wonderful sound of water always running in the pool. The house is very well-equipped, cozy and designed for all ages. Inês was an exemplary host, always available and attentive, and Dona Doras also deserves a special thank you for her prompt and kind help. We will treasure this experience with great affection! Excellent stay for several families with kids. The estate is beautiful and well maintained, the pools are nice to cool off in during a heat wave. The hospitality is perfect. The price in season may be scary at first but the house, the estate and the kindness of the employees justifies it. We'll be happy to go back! Thanks Inès (and Angela)

This place ought to be officially recognized as a national treasure! The house and grounds are full of historic charm and the scenery is spectacular. The farm fresh breakfast was truly impressive and the hospitality was top notch. We stayed for two nights but would have been very happy to have stayed for an entire week if our schedule had allowed for it. Many thanks to the owners for creating such a wonderful guest house and for the warm welcome and great sightseeing tips. It was the highlight of our trip from Canada.

A Hidden Gem in Nature! We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning farmhouse! The setting is absolutely serene—surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air. The highlight for us was definitely the natural water tank. It felt like our own private spring-fed pool—so refreshing and peaceful, especially in the mornings. The farmhouse itself is beautifully maintained, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. The interiors were cozy and spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. Waking up to the sound of birds and sipping coffee on the porch while looking out over the landscape was pure magic. Our host was warm, welcoming, and very responsive, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking to disconnect from the hustle and reconnect with nature, this place is a dream. We can’t wait to return!

A serene, calming place to stay in the Douro Valley. The home is spacious, well kept, and charming. We faced some challenges on this trip, and Anabela was so kind and understanding, always responding and offering helpful suggestions and advice. The fresh bread delivery and treats waiting for us made everything better. The backyard was a highlight for the kids. The pool was a little chilly for us in early June, but the weather started getting hotter as left, so I’m sure it would be comfortable in the later part of the season. We had a wonderful stay!

One of the highlights was dinner prepared by Jet and Ronald. I highly recommend this as part of the experience. We shared an amazing meal with other guests, and there was a lot of info from Ron about the local wines from the region. I missed out on Jet’s breakfast, but heard amazing things from the other guests in another studio at the property. Great place and great people.

The accommodation is very welcoming, surrounded by nature, animals and tranquility, which makes it the perfect place to decompress the stress of everyday life.

Great place to relax and unwind. Small, with the essentials and basics, without missing anything. Air conditioning working perfectly, everything very clean. The host was always concerned and responsive to our questions. We love everything and want to go back.

We had a wonderful getaway! Antonio and his family were excellent hosts. Very responsive and helpful.

We reserved the space to spend the New Year's Eve between friends, and we took two dogs. The area is beautiful and the reception was wonderful. Cristiana and her family treated us well, and made a point of leaving us at ease, having always been available to help with whatever was needed. The days were cold, but they left us a lot of firewood, which allowed the house to be always warm. On the eve of the New Year's Eve they left us more wine and a freshly made cake. The house was super clean and had everything that was needed. We were very eager to return, thank you for everything!

Very good accommodation, easy to access, very nice view, very clean, the dogs are very nice and don't bother you. The air conditioning works very well. The host is very available to answer questions. It was a great experience!

Great stay with my team. We installed our house and office for 15 days in this very welcoming house. The various spaces it offers have allowed us to cook, work, and have fun together. We will notice a beautiful fireplace that makes the space very nice. The environment is simply very beautiful and relaxing. The old stones, the small cats, the oranges, the bbq, the whole cable there so that the stay goes smoothly. A word also for Natalia, our host, who was always attentive and with whom contact is super easy and friendly.

Very beautiful environment for quiet family lounging, functional accommodation, incredible views, very pleasant, peaceful and charming little village. We would definitely recommend Quinta do Tapadinho! Very nice hikes to do around, but forget the bike, it's very steep! The baker even comes to your home in the morning;) Perfecto 👍🏽
