Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Rhododendron

We stay at this property once a year. The property and location are both amazing, but the responsiveness and consideration of the host is what keeps us coming back year after year. If you do manage to find a comparable property I can guarantee you will not find comparable hosts. They're amazing!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay! The house was perfectly set up with enough space and so many little extras that made us feel right at home. The surroundings were so quiet and peaceful- it was so relaxing to sit outside at the fire pit and listen to the river. Beth was always quick to respond and so kind to work with. We were all sad to go! I only wish we lived closer to be able to come back and visit again!!

This stay was everything we needed. It was peaceful, relaxing, clean, beautiful, and gorgeous! The river front property allows you to hear the river with the windows open for relaxing white noise at all times. The landscape was beautiful and the house was so comfortable. Allison was kind and left very clear instructions. She was also quick to respond and help us out when we needed it! HIGHLY recommend!

Our family loved our stay in Sandy, OR. The view of Mt. Hood was stunning, and the house was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the setting was quiet and private—perfect for a relaxing family getaway. Highly recommend!

Mark’s mountain cabin was perfect! Beautiful wooded location in a quiet neighborhood, with amazing proximity to a thousand trails. It was absolutely perfect for our long weekend getaway. Loved the kitchen and deck - we hit the Hoodland Farmers Market and grilled/cooked every night we stayed. Heated floors in the bathroom were a nice touch! Super cute, clean, and comfortable overall, and very dog friendly! We do not have dogs, but 10/10 recommend this spot for anyone who does. Really thoughtful touches everywhere, for both people and pets. We had a mishap that was sheer bad luck during our trip, and Mark was incredibly helpful and responsive. I would recommend him as a host just as much as his cabin. We will definitely be on the lookout for this gem the next time we want to escape to the Mt Hood wilderness!

Great place to stay if you’re planning on a trip to Mt. Hood and the surrounding area!Dean was a terrific host, kind and responsive. The home is as beautiful as it looks in the photos. The location is better than anticipated as it’s a very short drive to local dining and shops. Would recommend to friends and family and will be returning ourselves in the future! We absolutely love staying at The Foxglove! Aaron is a wonderful host, the house is full of great items to make you feel right at home. The kitchen is stocked with all the items you need to cook at home, and the layout is great for us! We both work remotely and are able to set up offices, as well as have a space for relaxing and enjoying a good movie, or cozy up with a book. We are repeat vacationers to the area and always try to stay at Aaron's home if it is available. Thank you for another great stay!

We enjoyed staying here! It was very cozy, and the surrounding area was quite beautiful with a few walking trails for the community. There were lots of practical touches to keep the warmth inside and everything was charmingly decorated, including the gnomes outside. The hot tub was great, but check the temp you want before you're ready to get in. We also loved the reclining couch. Thanks for the lovely stay!

Great house, great location and sparkling clean! At first, we were thinking that there is nowhere to walk our dog. We like very long walks at least three times a day. Next day we found the pass to the other part of the neighborhood with unlimited amount of trails along the river and in the forest. It is just couple minutes away from the house. Our favorite forest entrance is the one dedicated to Ladybug dog. It is a very nice pass to the river. The living room has big enough table for the board games nights. I see that some people complain about the mattress. It is memory foam one. You either like this type or you don’t in general. It worked perfectly for me, though my husband complained it is too soft for him. Kids really liked upstairs beds. The house also equipped with everything for the dogs. We didn’t need it as we bring everything for our pup as we travel a lot and many houses don’t have dog items. You will find: bowls, towels, poop bags, etc. Thank you for having us!

We had the best time at Fir Tree! Plenty of space for the five adults + two kids. The 6 year old LOVED the loft area, toys, & books. Us grown ups loved the patio area & sparkling clean spa. The kitchen was great for gathering & cooking. Loved eating at the huge island we nicknamed Australia since it’s more like a continent than an island. 🤭 Beds were all comfy with TVs in each room. Bring your own pillow if you’re not a fan of extra firm! Wonderful place with great hosts that we hope to visit again soon!

Steal of a deal 👌🏽 Extremely reasonably priced! Right on a golf course, peaceful and friendly vibe around the property. No fancy bells or whistles in the unity, but a very homey space that had many thoughtful touches. Mike and Betsy were beyond accommodating and responded quickly to my messages. We would 100% stay here again!

What a treat to stay at this amazing home! My husband and our two pups were looking for a quiet escape from our busy lives and this place did not disappoint! There’s so much to do on the property, from the bunk house to the hot tub, to exploring the area. It feels extremely private, and serene, but is also close to restaurants and other activities. We absolutely loved our stay and would be thrilled to have a chance to stay again!

We had a great stay here. Everything was just as described. It's very private and perfect for a medium sized group. The layout was perfect for group activities in multiple spaces. Kyla was great to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again

My sister and I were in the area to hike. We did 17 hikes which were all very close to the house. Highly recommend this cute house in the woods. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. The house was even better than the pictures. When we needed Brandon, he would respond within minutes. I would return to this stay in a heart beat. Don't hesitate at all.

The cottage is sweet, roomy and comfortable. Well-equipped with everything you could want. The back yard goes down to the creek and is amazing. So relaxing to sit outside. Like a fairy land!

Amy is an amazing host that provides awesome hospitality. The place is nice and clean and most importantly — it is so spacious that can easily fit at least 7 people. The environment is quiet and has a beautiful scenic surroundings. Highly recommend and would visit again!

My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. This is truly a magical, one-of-a-kind place. We stayed in 6 or so rentals during our roadtrip from Santa Barbara to Oregon. This was by far the cleanest, most serene, and restorative place we stayed. This may be an odd request but please, treat this remarkable home with the upmost of care and respect. I would love to continue returning here as long as possible!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at little spotty Dottie! The naturally inspired landscape added so much charm and personality to the thoughtfully curated inside. We loved it. It exceeded expectations- was clean, had gorgeous river view, privacy, very quick response time when we had questions or comments, and I even going kid friendly tableware for my little. This was a center central location for easy commute to scenic, hikes and views. Thank you so much!
